Story

First and foremost I make this promise this to you, my guest.

I respond promptly, I am available, my home will be ready for you.

I offer to you a mattress purchased new in 2013, then sealed and covered with soft 300 count sheets fresh for you, four pillows and a comfy comforter in an air conditioned 15x15 dedicated guest room, plus enough small touches to make you feel welcome. You will sleep well, tis why you are here.

Nice guest bathroom with mats in all the right places, a place for your things, a clean shower (tall peeps will appreciate) with good pressure & plenty of hot water, I do not run out for groups. In a pinch I have a 2nd place to pee. Towels are plentiful, as are washcloths and body washes. and the toilet will be clean.

I am a NECI grad and proud of my kitchen which I fully share with you, just look or ask, I have everything a household of peeps need, and again this is key. I keep room in my fridge for your food so you, the weary traveler can get replenished. Paper plates go in the blue bin. Just treat it as you would your own space, this is really all that I ask.

I have a large common area with plenty of chairs and a comfy couch. Apple TV to listen to my itunes collection, Netflix and a 60” sweet flat screen. Yes, you can play the drums (even if you think you can't)! I have now played music with two of my guest, twas fun. My patio on a nice night with an adult beverage is a fine thing, Vice away!

My house is always ready, every bed has two sets of sheets, so they will be fresh. I work M-F 9-5, I am but 25 min away, and can leave when I need to. I do meet my guests at the door with a nice guided tour. but should that not be possible, and you will know this before hand; you will have received my contact info and a code to get you in the door. Friday & Saturday are $85 for 2 people, again these are nice beds on a quiet neighborhood street in the new north end of Burlington. I have two of these rooms plus a nice fold-up bed and sometimes; I have a 10x9 room with a full bed,

I also offer a Sunday & Monday for 2 for $120 with some flexibility.

Check in time is flexible, but I do ask this:
Please have my contact info and address with you so that if you are delayed you can let me know. I always have my droid phone with me and I can text. Part of the charm is it is a pretty quiet neighborhood so please be mindful if it is past 10.

I am 3 miles from the middle of the Church St Marketplace. ¼ mile from the bike path, ¼ miles from Ethan Allen Tower and by far the best view you will find in town. Supermarket food etc ½ mile. Very close to the bus line and 6.8 miles from the airport.

Arriving via bike? $5 off per person and I can garage your bikes

What about breakfast? If it is Sunday sure thing!

I offer 2 options

Standard which is included. On Saturday I will loving saute up peppers, onions, garlic and spinach, add some farm fresh eggs, cook and portion so you micro in the morning as early or late as you want. Coffee pot just needs to be turned on, fruit will hang around, some bread some jam, you got it.

Door number 2 does not start until 10, it takes me some time, so the more people the cheaper per person it will be. $40 minimum then $10 per person. Hollandaise sauce. Thomas Keller tells an interesting story about a summer of making it every day, my story is that stuff is heaven. Fresh toasted muffin, spinach cooked with garlic and herbs, then place a perfectly poached egg and cover it with that sauce. Roasted red potatoes...

Dinner is certainly for hire, but, and this is a big but, please do not show up at 5 and ask for the dinner, just saying. By appointment only. Talk to me, my NECI degree is on the wall for a reason!

Please park in front of my house. Please ask, or know how to get here prior to arriving. Know that it snows in Burlington, and we have parking bans. Again, I will be able to park you.
