WOW! Sirsy and cheap cocktails! What a great combination. Especially since I was not driving. As Melanie says "We don't know when we will play here again, so come every night until you see us." Great sound in the venue by sound mixer. Fast friendly barmaids. Not sure about food, we didn't eat there so I'll let you decide for yourself.
I ordered take out, so I didn't didn't expect my food to be piping hot as it is snowing and cold outside currently. But I don't think that's an excuse for black irish sausage. Usually when I have it in the restaurant it is fantastic. A pleasant red brownish hue and very flavorful. This time it was as black as blood pudding and tasted like charcoal.
Great Irish bar, outdoor seating, live music on weekends, and they will print stuff on your beer! They also had vegetarian options and a special which was yummy.
This place has excellent food and great service. The best fish and chips I've ever had.
Guineas was served just perfectly! A rare happenstance in US. The pastry in the meat pie was delectable. Live Irish music made it a wonderful visit. We'll go here again when we're in the neighborhood
We have been here twice. The is fine, but prepare a backup choice. The list of items they run out of or do t have has impacted us on both visits. We like the feel of the place, but everything was sticky this last trip too.
Wanted some dinner and drinks prior to the fisher cats game. While the food was decent, there was a lot to be desired on ambiance. The table was sticky, the service was slow. Multiple main dishes were sold out beef stew, fish and chips. Disappointed and will not return.
The Shaskeen is one of my favorite bars and venues in my local area. Irish pub to the maximum in the front but the venue in the back has hosted all sorts of parties and shows and it's always been a fun time.
I went here with my boyfriend. We ordered chicken tenders. 5 small pieces of chicken tenders for 10 dollars is insane. I will not come back to this place.
Superb irish food! The meat pie and Guinness stew were spectacular and authentic. Adorable and cozy pub feel and the staff were great!Food: 5/5
