The Shrimp Box & Outside The Box Patio Bar

Fantastic place to eat the food is reasonably priced. With every entree you get the salad bar. The food is great and you have a fantastic View of the Point Pleasant Inlet and fishing vessels. It's really worth the time to go eat there. They have an outside Patio and Bar that you can enjoy doing nice weather. I have gone here several times and we'll go back

Went there after a very stressful day of dealing with spreading my mother's ashes. When we arrived they were very helpful they seated us rite away (12 people) service was very good as was the food. I also tried the key lime Martini that the sever recommended and it was really good. So thank you to the staff at the shrimp box for making a stressful day more relaxing keep up the great work.

Shrimp Box is a very popular place for seafood dining. I always recommend this place when people go to Point Pleasant Beach. The seafood is excellent. Service here is excellent. Employees here are very friendly.

Good seafood. Sunset dinners (early bird) are your biggest bang for your buck. Everything that I have ever had from here is delicious. Very crowded in the summer. Only downside is lack of parking.

We have been dining at The Shrimp Box in Point Pleasant Beach for many years. My daughter's favorite restaurant during in and off season. Unfortunately, last nights experience was disappointing to say the least. Overcooked seafood, poor service! Due to inclement weather, we were among very few tables, we were amazed at how long our food took considering we have been there when it has been packed in the height of the season. We didn't complain at first, as we were starving and chose to ignore sending back food on a birthday celebration. The Francaise sauce congealed, and the salmon and shrimp were over cooked and dry. We chose to use a "buy one entree get one 50% off coupon. They chose to take it off the "discounted sunset dinner". Then when we used a gift certificate she received as a gift, we were denied saying a coupon could not be used with a gift certificate. Absolutely ridiculous......the gift certificate was paid for in advance! After much discussion with the waitress, the owner came over and continued to deny the purchase. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I BEEN TREATED SO POORLY AS A CUSTOMER.! Needless to say, it was a terrible experience and the quality of food and service has come to an all new LOW! Lots of great seafood restaurants at the Jersey Shore, however, the Shrimp Box is not one of them and will never see us again!!!!!! Bad Decisions on Management!!!! Complaints live longer than compliments!!!!
