Jenny was knowledgeable about the products I was interested in purchasing. She offered her suggestions as to what can be done in rearranging my dishwasher once i informed her of my concerns in the area where the stove and the dishwasher was located. She was friendly and welcome. She wasn't trying to push the sale. I already recommend her to a family member, who is also interested in a dream kitchen. I am truly thankful and happy with her input. This place doesn’t even deserve a rating. The worst company I have ever dealt with. They are nothing but liars. 2 and 1/2 months now and I still can’t move into my new home that I’m paying a mortgage on because my cabinets are still not right. First I was given the wrong size cabinet above the sink. That came in but my contractor has to build it but they didn’t send any hardware with it. Then I come to find out I’m missing 3 doors. Told them numerous times to remind them and hope they didn’t forget about my order. I’m told they are on back order. Ok it is what it is I’ll wait but don’t lie to me. Then the kick plates are the wrong color. Call them to re order the correct color. I call to see where that is and they didn’t even have an order out for new color. Now I call again to see where my doors are because they told me by the end of the week I’d have them and I don’t !!!!! Now this is the best... I got to put the shelves in and the shelf pins are too small for the holes. Whoever made the cabinets drilled the shelf holes too big and now the hardware doesn’t fit. I go to the store and was told sorry but that’s standard size hardware. Now my husband has to go to Home Depot and come up with an idea on how to hold the shelves in place. And to top it all off customer has done NOTHING for my aggravation. Paid over $4,000 for cabinets and nothing was ever refunded to me, nothing !!!!!! Do yourself a favor and never use this company. The worst!!!!!!!!

If I could give them zero stars I would. I ordered my cabinets in May and I just got the complete order yesterday, Sept 20th. It took 4 months to get all the pieces! They delivered incorrect cabinets, wrong hinges, missing doors, and took the wrong measurements. We had to drive to their PA warehouse to pick up the correct cabinet to find out when we got home, that they have us the wrong cabinet face. My multiple calls were ignored. When you call the salesman its a cell phone, so they can see who is calling. Terrible service! I would not recommend this company.
Six years ago after hurricane Irene we replaced our kitchen with cabinets from Solid Wood. We did the install ourselves but the staff here were very helpful in designing a layout for the kitchen. They were great in handling the one cabinet that was damaged during delivery. The cabinets went in with no other issues. I'm writing this to say that after 6 years they still look great, and have preformed perfectly. Thanks for selling a quality product.
BEWARE!!!!! I placed my order on March 30th and was promised delivery in 2 weeks give or take. Until 5 weeks no one called to schedule delivery. When I called Mike he said I would need to call the scheduling department April/Tammy. I called them and they said many of the items on order are on Back Order for indefinite time. Also, they mentioned that I have a balance due on my account whereas I had paid 100% of it with receipts. Mike told me that he is putting an authorization hold on my account and I will be charged only after the cabinets are delivered. But they charged me already and I still do not have the cabinets. To schedule the delivery I talked to their Operations guy Paul and he made fun of me when I discussed the delivery problems. I had to ultimately call Mike my sales rep and he suggested we change the kitchen design. Having no choice I changed the kitchen design but even then he failed to arragnge the deliveries as these cabinets were out of stock indefinitly. I had called Mike atleast 50 times but he never returns call. That's insane!!!! At least, I had to call in to cancel the order. I still haven't received the refund or charge reversals. Be careful, I do not see any incentives buying from them; price, customer service, quality I found better quality elsewhere at cheaper price, deliveries in time - nothing is in their favor.
Your customer care service sucks. 8 weeks for a single cabinet. 2 weeks ago I was told it was done,ready for delivery. Now I am being told its not even painted yet. The worst company,unacceptable answers. I wish I had known. I got sent wrong materials,the wrong doors for cabinets,missing drawers and missing hardware. Do yourself a favour avoid these chuckeheads.
Ask for Mike Schroeder! He was so knowledgeable, honest and straight forward. Mike helped us select a style we liked, broke down the cost/benefit of add ons in an honest way, and pushed for a faster delivery while simultaneously being very up front with what he could PROMISE vs. what he would TRY to do. In the end he got us our cabinets delivered in two weeks, and gave us great advice for the counters and sinks even though we went with a different vendor. We got solid wood cabinets for the same price as crappy Hampton Bay Depot brand which even the guy at Home Depot told me sucked. HD said they might be able to get cabinets delivered in 2 MONTHs! Mike got us ours in 2 WEEKS! I don’t know why anyone goes to those box stores, they are a rip off. This place does not pick up the phone much because they are helping customers. Just leave a message and confirm someone will be there if you are going late. Mike, if you are reading this, thank you so much! I’ll post pics when the renovation is over!
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I went to Solid Wood Cabinets while they were having a great sale. I had rough measurements my mother and I took, but the saleswoman, Jenny, said she would come out to measure my kitchen herself. She came out a few days later to measure everything with my. I received the cabinets and upon attempting to install them, the pantry cabinet was 2 inches too high because I had a soffit from my ceiling. I also had an awkward corner wall that was covering piping, so it was not a 90 degree angle corner. The corner cabinet she gave me was a straight cabinet. I was told to cut the kickplate of the cabinet the 2 inches in order for it to fit. ANY alterations would have voided my warrantee per the contract and she confirmed it. I also went to look at the corner cabinet options, I was told "they didn't carry a corner cabinet for that kind of corner". So the corner cabinet would not open all the way without hitting the cabinet next to it, it was set back from the side cabinets or I had to then create a filler. Those were the solutions. I also had a farmhouse sink that I informed her about beforehand. I was given a regular base sink cabinet and was told I was responsible for altering it. I was not aware of that at the time of ordering. After all of this, I asked what could be done to make up for these issues with the material not being what I thought I had ordered. I was told they could credit me $200. As if that makes up for delaying me being able to move into my new home or the aggravation I had to go through. I had opened a Wells Fargo card upon purchase. I have returned the cabinets as of 2 months ago at this point. Upon returning the cabinets I called Wells Fargo to notify them and close my card. I received another statement stating I still owe the over $7k for the cabinets because "Wells Fargo has not received a response from Solid Wood Cabinets in regard to my return". I am livid. This entire process set me back from living in my home almost 2 months. It was an entire waste of my time.
Do not use!!!! I have been waiting for the rest of my cabinets for a month now. I can’t even get my counter top measure because the design layout was completely screwed up!! Drawers won’t open because they hit the stove and oven door won’t open because they hit the refrigerator. I also paid for them to come out and measure to make sure to get the best measurements, but I guess that didn’t matter because my top cabinet lands over the kitchen window. All these problems I could take; but the cherry on top is the vague answer I get whenever I ask when will my cabinets get here? Please save yourself the trouble, and go somewhere else!!!!
