Dr. Conrad and staff are amazing. I had never been to a chiropractor before and Dr. Conrad was a referral from a friend and I’m so very thankful to have found him. I was in so much pain that medicine wasn’t helping me. I had pain shooting down my arm and into my hand. In literally 3 appointments I had no pain. He tells you what he is doing and what to expect. I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you Dr. Conrad!

UPDATE! EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS: While I said Dr. Conrad is nice, and it is hard to tell motive with writing, his response to me reveals an air of pompous condescension as if his sage-like advice came from God himself and saved me. I didn't appreciate his response, and I believe even if he was trying to be silly and not arrogant, it shows his lack of seriousness and concern. After all, I was back to being in severe pain and my bank account emptied (money is a precious commodity in my family). It is incredulous to believe that somehow I did not know about icing before coming to him, or that somehow he has the magic formula. It must be made known that I asked him for exercises upfront (as condition for doing treatment with him) and told him I needed them in order to not throw money away with continuous treatment and to strengthen my back properly at home. He gave me three exercises. Additionally, I never said I was without pain or back to normal now. But the most important thing to see is that Dr. Conrad made the assumption that he helped, could continue to help, and "relapses" are normal. No they aren't. This is a way of redirecting responsibility. He assumed his regimen helped. Even if his "teachings" of icing did help in a minute manner, it was not worth the hundreds of dollars I spent there in the short time. In truth, after consulting with a physical therapist, two out of the three exercises given to me by Dr. Conrad were the worst for my injury, and "relapses" shouldn't happen that soon after if his work was doing anything for my issue. THE KEY is that he assumed his exercises would work without knowing anything about my injury, and he didn't make any mention of needing to know the exact injury. An MRI revealed I have a bulging disc impending upon my nerve, and the kind of exercises given were exacerbating the issue. This is the sign that chiropractors assume that their cut and dry approach works for every situation. It didn't. I trusted him to know and understand the injury he diagnosed after the initial assessment, and that his "treatment" would be appropriate for my injury and actually work. Be aware. Know what is wrong with you before you get treated because whoever is treating you won't likely care to ask or find out despite them taking your money!
Dr. Conrad is a very nice guy, and I don't doubt that he can help people. However, in my situation, he didn't help me. I spent a great deal of money there as I did not have insurance. I saw him countless times starting out with severe lower back pain to the point I couldn't straighten my back. I went to him twice a week for a while then down to once then down to the break as his office was closed. During my time there, he performed manual adjustments that I would describe as pretty forceful compared to some other chiropractors. Regardless, I felt as if I was getting better, and that it was due to the adjustments and the dry needling he performed. What is frustrating is that I relapsed right as he went on vacation. No known cause, just immediately went right back to the place before I started with him. That was surprising given how many adjustments I had with him, and I did everything he said including at home stretches/exercises and the constant icing regimen. Now, since he has been gone, icing and rest has helped me get back almost to where I was before he left. That is frustrating because even though I think I should see a refund of at least half my money I spent there, I doubt it will ever happen as chiropractors never take responsibility for the fact that they might not be helping. They always find a way to blame the patient for a relapse. Usually it is because the patient is not doing the at home care, which in my case wasn't true. He is a good guy and if you believe chiropractic can help and have the money to throw at the treatment, then by all means try it and Dr. Conrad could be a good one for that. But be aware there are never any guarantees and you will always be blamed if it doesn't work, so you could be throwing your money away.

This was my first chiropractoric experience. The staff is friendly and works around my schedule. Dr.Conrad knows exactly how to make me feel better and gives me suggestions or stretches I can do at home to support my visits.
