Would like to go back again. Moved my kid into college and found this place on a little side street. Great atmosphere, great selection of beer and alchohol. Food was great the only downfall was the fries. They weren't fried more like warmed up and limp. But the meal was great. I would definitely go back
Finally open so had a go with the pizza here. Must say this was the strangest margherita pizza I have ever try. The whole wheat crust was delicious but the red sauce and mozzarella were not tasty. Plus the preparation with the non melted cheese made for a strange texture to the pizza. Anyhow, I may try again but a different pizza. Like the wood fire idea but so far not impressed with pizza. Look like a good drinking spot though.
Cool old building, great food, just poor service. I got the pulled pork sandwich, which was delicious. Would've been better if it didnt have the cole slaw or pickles in it, but the pork was very tender and very flavorful. Server only came to our table a couple times, and other people delivered our food and took the dishes away. Took another 45 minutes after that for us to receive our bill, and that was after we flagged them down. Please find some better wait staff, regardless of how busy it is or how understaffed you are it should not take that long.
I ordered the Pig Burger with fries and while the burger itself was decent, I really enjoyed the fries. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The burger was average as it had usual burger fixings lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and meat while the cheese was an additional $2.00 charge.
Cool place! Our server was awesome! We loved all the food, from the Cuban sandwich to the Pulled Pork sandwich and the pizza. Also, the fries were top notch!
Stopped by this place not knowing what to expect and it was great. I had the fish curry and several beers, all of which were fantastic. The service and atmosphere were excellent. Highly recommended
Umm 3 because we didn't eat and it looks so cool and everyone else seems to love it. Got here Friday night at 8 PM. Website said they're open until 11. The place was 100% empty and looked closed from the outside. Check Google again. Nope definitely open. We enter. Bar looks cool. Dining room to the right through double doors looks awesome empty too. Bartender looks annoyed at our arrival. We get menus. Order 2 beers their selection is nice for sure. Get asked at 8.20 if we want food since the kitchen is closing in 10 minutes. We decline menu does look scrumptious btw. All good and nothing terrible - just taken aback at feeling like a nuisance I guess. Would maybe try again and am sure it's awesome, but typing this now and leaving relieved that I am no longer in someone's way. That's not great
Great food. Had curry and chicken pesto panini for lunch. Should have been much busier on a Saturday lunch hour. Deserves to beFood: 5/5
This place is a hidden gem. From the outside, the restaurant is completely unassuming, but once inside, you’re hit with an upbeat atmosphere and great decor. I like that it has an open kitchen, it makes you feel like they have nothing to hide. The staff was extremely friendly and the food tasted fresh and homemade. I’d definitely return.
Pizza is great, dough is nice and light but still got good chew & flavor. Staff is superb. Also one of the few places in the area with decent darts setup. Hard to find that these days.
