The Startingate Ski Shop

I always get my skis tuned here and bring friends in to rent before we head up to the mountain. Super friendly and helpful staff and great rental gear at decent prices. They do not rent snowboard equipment, but were happy to make a recommendation for a place to rent for a buddy of mine. They stay open later on Fridays which is great if you plan on going on Saturday morning and need to get set up to hit the slopes early. My only (minor) complaint is the the shop on the upper level doesn't have many budget priced items. If cost isn't really a problem for you, they offer premium gear at higher prices. The rentals are well priced however. Altogether my favorite ski shop in the area.

Warrantee replacement of my boots was painless and easy. Ski repair back to like new bases. These folks take care their customers equipment right.

Friendly service with a knowledgable staff! I had two bikes services this spring for the first time at the Startingate and it's safe to say, I'll be a returning customer. They truly care about everyone who walks through their doors. Thanks again, and happy trails!
