The Stone

Service and beer selection is top notch at The Stone. They regularly feature 100+ options, many of which are unique and specilry beers. Drinks are priced fairly and there are always a group of regulars to chat with. The owners of this hidden gem in Bay View are always doing fundraisers for local events and charities and are big supporters of the Milwaukee War Memorial. Stop in for a few drinks and some free popcorn.

Matt The Ratt is a great bartender, very attentive and friendly. Great experience, clean atmosphere, music was not loud or obnoxious. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quant place to enjoy a delicious beverage that is reasonable and with lots of beer choices to choose from.

Nice bar with an above average craft beer selection. They have a patio for warmer days and the inside is surprisingly clean for a bar.

Everyone is wearing a mask! I'm amazed and so so happy to have found a bar I can go to this winter. People were so very nice and friendly. Good selection of beer. They also have some stand up tables out on the sidewalk.

Tap selection is always changing and is diverse and a good size. Bartenders are fantastic. Great place to stop at with some friends along, or skip in by yourself! Dart boards. Solid specials. Old-school floor peanuts. Always an enjoyable, memorable time.

By the time construction is finished this will be at 5 stars. The owner and staff were incredibly nice and funny. The variety of craft beers leaves you wanting to try it all. With dart boards in the back and some tables in the middle. They also offer Growlers which is impressive as most bars don't.

We always have a great time at this local bar. They have a great selection of beer and can always find a seat. One of our favorites to grab a drink or two before heading home. Enjoy the free popcorn!

No matter what kind of day I am having, I know if I get myself to The Stone, it's going to instantly improve. Really fun and attentive staff, friendly, welcoming neighborhood patrons and extremely reasonable prices for great drinks. As a single woman, I have never felt unsafe or bothered when I've gone in alone. It's well-lit and clean and you find that the people around you engage you in conversation so you are never truly alone and it's easy to feel as if someone is watching your back. Nobody who comes in there for the first time leaves as a stranger. Truly a neighborhood gem.

Place came recommended.However after having a beer during happy hour, and leaving a dollar tip totaling $5.00, I noticed my checking account was charged $10. Double. Honest mistake or not, keep your receipt when stopping at this establishment. Tried to reach the Stone, but no luck with the phone number they have listed .
