We purchased a 5' Christmas tree at the begining of December put it in the stand and watered daily, I have just taken it outside 5th of Jan during the Christmas period it has barely shed any needles, BEST ONE YET thank you.

I bought a tree from these guys at Morrisons Ecclesfield last year.  I usually go to garden centres to ensure quality, but the trees on display looked nice, so gave them a go.  The tree lasted until the beginning of MARCH.

What a lovely Xmas tree selection they have
