The Tutoring Center

When we started my son was struggling in reading and math, about 6 months behind grade level for first grade. Within 6 sessions, 2x per week, he was dramatically improved in reading and in focused attention to his tasks. The method is effective but not so intense that my son feels he cannot achieve his goals. And he loves being on the same or higher level than his peers at school. I like the progress reports and compare them to report cards from school. They are very collaborative and I get perspective to help me gauge and guide my son's academic progress and levels. Quick assessment focused on personalizing tutoring to my child's specific needs. Customer service is exceptional... smiling faces, willing to help. Caring administrators that want the best experience for the kids. We're new to the program, but my son loves to go to tutoring! What a switch! I can already see a change in his self-confidence.

I have now used the Tutoring Center for two of my children. My daughter truly struggled in 4th grade last year. Homework became a 4-5 hour ordeal. Worried she would not pass STARR and 4th grade we came to The Tutoring center, they were excellent! John and all of the staff are great, her grades came up, she passed 4th grade and the STARR and feels more confident in her studies now. Again this year I had to contact The Tutoring center for my 10th grade son who was struggling through Algebra II. They were awesome, getting him in right away and working with our crazy schedule. I highly recommend The Tutoring center, everyone there are great.

We've been very impressed with our son's progress at The Tutoring Center. The teachers have made it so he's not afraid to learn and he has quickly caught up to his peers. We no longer have concerns about him being able to handle grade 1 thanks to the Tutoring Center!

The tutoring center of Houston is very beneficial and always very professional. The tutors are all professionals and have college degrees. My son's favorite part of the week is going to the center. The center definitely makes learning enjoyable and fun for all kids.

My son has been coming here off and on for a couple years now. When we first enrolled, he was below average in most of his studies. Three months in we could see a big improvement and he's now at the top of his classes and enrolled in GT. He's in second grade and I anticipate we will be back here most summers just to keep him on track.

Very organized and professional. All of the parent paperwork was very step by step and informative as to what I should expect. It gave me a good idea of how clear and understanding the tutors would be with my son. Who loved it after just one session!

The team at the tutoring center are great to work with. It has helped my child build up her confidence in class.
