Great live entertainment and awesome food! Really awesome food! They boast a fully raised stage with lighting and sound, booths, tables, and 2 levels, a bar and seating on each, plus outdoor seating with clear dividers, heating, and cover. We saw an excellent comedy set hosted by K Bell. I had a Reuben and my friend had the burger and fries. Great portions, perfect and fresh. The show was very well produced and included six 10 minute comedy acts. The bar was attentive and fully stocked. Great location-- we even spotted a senator down the street leaving a dinner party!

We came to the city for a show and picked The Ugly Mug for dinner, randomly. The facade, aesthetics and outdoor seating gave a chill-and-not-too-expensive vibe, which was accurate. Orders included the BBQ spare ribs, brisket Mac-n-Cheese, burgers, coleslaw and fries, as well as a selection of beers and their cocktails, all of which was *excellent*. The brisket Mac-n-Cheese appetizer was large enough to be an entree and was absolutely delicious. If you go, order this. I didn’t try the ribs you don’t ask to eat another’s BBQ unless offered and I wasn’t! A testament to their quality? but they seemed to have been cooked properly compared to most non-BBQ-centric places; not falling off the bone but tender and leaving your “bite mark” on the meat. The burgers were great with an incredibly buttery, soft bun. I had a cocktail of theirs that was an interesting take on a margarita and I found it slightly off-putting at first but over time the unique taste and alcohol grew on me. The waitstaff was helpful, friendly, attentive and expeditious, as was the rest of the front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Kudos to all for feeding us amazing food and getting us toasted for the rest of our DC evening. If you’re in the Navy Yard area and are looking for very good food and drink at reasonable prices with a relaxed atmosphere, this place is definitely for you.

Listen, let me save you some money. This food was ABSOLUTELY disgusting! I browsed through Uber Eats for an hour before deciding on this restaurant. I ordered the smoked chicken and gouda pizza for myself and margherita pizza for my son. I knew he wasn't going to like it the moment I opened the box, and I was right. He said it was nasty! I took those big disgusting tomatoes off and added cheese and pizza sauce that I already had to it then put it in the oven see picture. I'm so disappointed. I'm never ordering from this establishment again. Oh, and they didn't tape the pizza box shut. That's just common sense! I don't want someone tampering with my food!

I don’t leave reviews on anything but these are the worst wings Ive ever had. And they sent 1 tiny blue cheese with 16 wings… not a very good effort….

Nice place. Nice vibe upstairs. Other than the liquor selection being alil limited my draft beer was flat the food was good. I recommend it

The best place to watch a Manchester City game, but also run by the best people. The food is great and there is a good drinks selection. We love it!

Uber Eats/Mobile Ordered some Brussel sprouts and truffle fries just to give it a try. Barely tasted any truffle on the fries had absolutely no parmesan cheese on them and the sprouts were just to soggy/ wet. I’ll give them another try though

Ordered through a Delivery App I had credit on. Lol @ this place, so awful. First of all it's a bar thats running like 5 different ghosts out of the same kitchen. Ghosts chefs are usually great but this is scummy. Ordered expensive $14 each calzones that were not only burnt beyond edible, but had no flavor in general after I peeled off the burnt. Tomato was so pale almost translucent. Chesess were low quality,, no taste. I think it was ripped from like a frozen fast casual box. Poor cooks. The service was about as bad as could be. Slowest dude and complete inability to communicate. Why would you work in the service industry when it's readily apparent you don't want to be there or make an effort. Also, don't title your business "Brooklyn" when the product is about as antithetical from a Brooklyn calzone. I'd probably come back for beer if anything.
