The place was hopping for a Wednesday night. I had the Roasted Pork street tacos and she had the Southwest chopped salad. We shared fries and a pretzel. We took advantage of the house rose wine for $5 each. Very nice! Try this out if you are in town. They have a shaded patio that would have been great if the temp at 6pm wasn't 107.
The food was good overall. The steak was delicious but the portions were a bit small on the steak plate. The half chicken was a good size. The rest of the meals were pretty good. The staff was nice and the place was not so packed. The cookie dessert was a little too mushy but it was not bad.Food: 5/5
My first visit to the Vig and it definitely won’t be my last! Parking lot is small but there seems to be plenty of available parking in the surrounding area, I didn’t have any issues at all. Visited for brunch, we had the calamari and cinnamon roll for apps - both really delicious and then I had the croque madame for entree, also very good. Service was excellent, maybe just a touch of a loud setting for brunch but overall, a very enjoyable experience.
They were very accomadting to my large group 13. The food and drinks were tasty. I love the outdoor seating area, very flexible options. The only true complaint I had was no ice for water and slow service on tickets.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Great environment. Our waitress was sweet and patient even though most of our party showed up nearly an hour late. The food was a bit of a disappointment, but I am vegetarian, so maybe it was just my dish. The sauce was good and the guacamole, but the veggie Street tacos definitely fell short of the recommended. The mimosas were great. Overall pricing isn't terrible. This place is good for a low priced, casual meet up, but not for a nice night out or to bring your out of town guests to. Also, very little parking and the restroom sinks were clogged.
Fun place. Hadn't been in a couple years. Drinks were good, food was just ok. I got enchiladas, they tasted good but were cold. They did remake but 2nd dish was just warm. My son ordered the salmon...They cook Medium and felt it was a bit more than medium and tasted a bit fishy...needed a bit more sauce.Food: 3/5
The outdoor atmosphere is amazing and I loved the patio layout and comfortable, cozy seating. My request for Mai Tai was met with a delicious tasting cocktail that I absolutely would order again. My Eggs Benedict was decent. The English muffin part could stand to be a little better in some way maybe a different muffin type and the calamari - while the dipping sauce was good, the calamari themselves are a bit skinny and over cooked here maybe as a result of them *being* skinny. When you have thicker calamari it tends to just have a better mouth chew than say, onion straws which this resembled in texture/chew. Crunchy and thin. The chorizo burrito was very tasty and worth it if you like chorizo. Nothing here was bad, I just think it could have blown me away with some small changes. I will back for the atmosphere, drinks, and other options to try on the menu.
Inviting atmosphere, nicely split between indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent food choices and a great place to get together and enjoy time together with friends and family.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
Good food, good service. Tables needed to be cleaned. A little quirky with with the menu timing, but whatever. Overpriced drinks.Won't be going back but it was ok. I suppose it goes with the area but I wasn't impressed. Maybe it was just me.
Good vibes and a great ambiance. This place was cool. Good drinks & good food. The crispy chicken sandwich was soooo gooddd. Perfectly crisp chicken and it was super juicy! I don’t even like coleslaw but it was good on this sando! I got the Desert Dove & Blood Orange Margarita pictured. I liked the Desert Dove much better & it came in a larger glass also! Can’t wait to return & try more good stuff!
