The Villa on Mt Tabor

I've stayed here a few times now and enjoyed it each time. The host is friendly and quick to respond even by email, I found the quality to match what I paid for and it's a nice air bnb experience. It's cozy, and although I'm not high maintenance, my experiences here have been positive and I will definitely book again.

Very cozy and has a/c and heat in your room. Host was amazing and very friendly and helpful with questions and giving info about the city. Parking is available in driveway but only for small cars, trucks will have to park on the road.

I found the advertising and information of this place very deceiving. It did not comply with what was advertised, like no plates, no silverware, the room was minuscule, no space to place the suitcases, the mattress was very old and uncomfortable and so on. It was the worst place that we ever stayed and a very unpleasant surprise when we got there.

this place is not what they say it is. the room we reserved was tiny, about 8x10 in size. they advertise a Kitchenette. what a joke. there is a tiny microwave, a tiny refrigerator which is used as a nightstand, so you get to listen to it cycle on and off all night and a depressing coffee/tea station. As for the decor... The walls look as if they haven't been cleaned or painted in years. there are scuff marks on all walls. the bathroom walls were the same. the floors are cracked. they advertise as a Tuscan villa. this is a house that's been divided into hotel rooms. speaking of the bathroom... the shower curtain rod is made from a wooden Dowl. it is installed in such a crappie way it makes one wonder if these people even set foot on the property. the flooring is cracked and looks very dirty. the toilet doesn't even flush correctly. needless to say, we returned the key to the lockbox, because afterall, this is a self-check in situation with no manager on site. we proceeded to contact the manager and immediately file a complaint asking for a refund. their answer is, in a nutshell: we only offer a 50% refund because we held this room and turned away other customers. my bill was $670.00. I got back only 335.00 of my money. this is a rip-off . Don't bother to waste your time. we ended up at the Quality Inn former Holiday Inn in Gresham. you could put the room at the Villa on Mt Tabor inside this one 4 times for a lot less money.

Thought I was paying for a private room, ended up being a hostel situation in the basement of the place. Extremely awkward and uncomfortable stay. Do not recommend. We left way earlier than the check out time. Thank god we only paid for one night.

The room was well decorated and clean. Shane was very helpful even though we booked 2 hours before check in that day. He made sure we were taken care of!

Zero stars. Booked a room, but did not receive a villa assignment or key code. Repeatedly attempted to contact property owner and when they finally did pick up, they told me they'd have the resident manager contact me. No word from the RM and no further response on the property owner's number. Left outside in the cold and snow. Hands down, the worst service I've ever received.

They have bedbugs and I showed them the photos of the bites and they were rude, blamed me, and they were very passive aggressive. No solution was made. And I'm still covered in bug bites. Their so called solution was to wash the sheets but bedbugs live in mattresses so beware. No refund was made.

Not personal service but they get the job done. Clean, nice. Small but good value.

Reasonably comfortable, great amenities, very cool location.
