My experience at The Village has changed my life. I had been thinking of seeing someone, and finally made the call five months ago. In this short time, I have grown and feel equipped to manage my anxiety effectively. You don't leave a session, and then it's done. You leave with new skills to practice so that you can be your best self. I have felt understood and cared for this entire time. It's one more component to self-care. My counselor is amazing and the perfect fit for me. I leave feeling lighter and empowered. Scheduling is easy, and you can get in quickly. I am so grateful for the services at The Village!

The Village provides an amazing level of care to its clients, and its therapists are highly trained. I accessed services for my son in 2016, and the counselor set us on the path to improve out interactions and overcome the difficult behaviors. I'm honored to now work for the organization.

I called yesterday in hopes to get information or schedule an appointment for my extreme postpartum depression I have been experiencing. I was hoping this facility offered both counseling and medication management. After explaining my situation to the woman that answered my call at the Moorhead location, I was transferred, explained my situation, was transferred again, explained my situation, and was transferred to someone’s voicemail. (I am tying to be proactive about this, so I also sent an email) I got an answer back via email and was told to come in today for an evaluation so they could “get a feel” for my situation at the Fargo location. I got to my appointment and met with an RN who asked what I’m “currently using”. I was confused by her question and asked what she meant- apparently whoever helped me, scheduled me for an evaluation for chemical dependency? Aside from making me feel incredibly stupid for being there (even though it wasn’t my error) then, in a nut shell, told me they can’t help me and told me to go to the ER or urgent care? I understand that miscommunications/misunderstandings happen but this is absolutely ridiculous. I am extremely upset and disappointed with the entire situation.

My family counselor is AMAZING! Love all the help and how helpful she is!
