I visited this place with my husband and small child, I was highly satisfied with my purchase but my husband felt that the customer service did not come off as pleasant. He was asked for an ID for a $20 purchase which he felt was unnecessary. Without inquiring about why we had to show ID, the cashier began to state that it was mandatory for all card purchases. Unfortunately my husband does not feel comfortable spending any more money at this store.
Very unique, gorgeous selection to fit any home/style for great prices! Loved how organized it was and the art gallery/furniture store set up and design. I went to find another item to meet the $20 minimum to pay with card and ended up going home with two items I love!
The store is absolutely beautiful and has some really amazing items. I spent quite a while in the shop today and found two perfect Christmas presents for family. When I took my items to the counter, I told the associate how amazing the store was and that this was my very first time seeing it. However, the items I got didn’t ring up to $20, so I was told they would only take cash or I couldn’t make the purchase. Only all I had on me was credit cards and I had an afternoon appointment so I didn’t have time to go to an atm and come back. I’m really disappointed. It would be nice for first time customers to get a little grace on the first purchase since I had no idea I would need to bring cash. Or maybe have more signage around the store? The only sign was at the checkout counter and the writing was so small, I didn’t notice it until I was finished shopping.
Fun vintage shops with great lighting and a plethora of merchandise. It is all displayed in a way that is not overpowering and the store is designed that walking through the little rooms make you feel like you are discovering treasures at every turn. In fact we discovered and purchased this adorable vintage hat for my niece.
We tried to go to Alford Avenue antiques, the first address online was wrong and we ended up at an abandoned building in the middle of nowhere. Tried a second address for Alford and ended up here at the Vintage Shoppes, which come to find out from reading online IS Alford Avenue Antiques. Alford had operating hours posted online which stated they are open until 7, whereas the Vintage Shoppes apparently close at 5 now. Even still, we got there before 5 and it was already closed, although there was a huge OPEN sign in the window with a tiny in comparison CLOSED sign near it. Altogether frustrating experience, store might be fine we wouldn’t know.
This store has been great, but I still have things there and recently found out it is closed? When will it reopen?
This business has scammed so many people out of money. She promotes under various business names she will introduce herself under Signature Estate Sales but ask you to pay her under Alford Avenue Antiques and now this!. She does this, so that consumers are unable to find reports of her frauding others. She he does not pay you what you are owed or she will not pay you at all. She makes up prices at the register because her employees don't know how to price items. Her employees are also very unprofessional and she blames them for whenever something goes wrong. It is not the employees fault, but the business owner should be held responsible. Her estate sales are very unorganized, and you will find consistent reviews noting this as well. Please if you are working with Signature Estate Sales, please note that you are also working with Alford Avenue Antiques and NOW The Vintage Shoppes, where you will find she has scammed many indivduals who did not know she was operating under two now three different business names. She must be stopped from deceiving others before this all goes too far. I feel sorry for anyone who has fell victim to her scams.
This place is fantastic! It's so clean and organized, the staff is super friendly, and you could go through the store three times and still find new stuff. Definitely recommend
Nice merchandise, nice owner. I had a somewhat unpleasant first impression of the staff, but the owner reached out immediately and made me feel better about my visit. The atmosphere, merchandise, and owner are enough for me to return.
The jewelry is great. Something for everyone. More fine jewelry selections needed. We may consign some with them. The staff is uncommonly friendly.
