The Vitamin Shoppe

My wife and I have been long time customers until today. The cashier was snarky and rude. They have now lost loyal customers. I’ll get what I need cheaper online and skip the hassle of dealing with the ungrateful employees.

I bought some essential oils for a sick pet and after doing more research decided they were not what I needed. I was able to return them with no hassle. I have frequented the 28th street location multiple times and have found the staff to be friendly, professional and helpful. I pass many other health stores on my way but always chose the Vitamin Shoppe. Very knowledgeable staff.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. As personal trainers we send all of our clients there because they will be treated with respect and they won't be sold unnecessary items.

The Vitamin Shoppe has nearly everything you need to meet your health needs. From protein, to prenatal vitamins, I've always been able to find exactly what I'm looking for. The staff is also extremely helpful.

I have been going to Vitamin Shoppe for my supplement needs for over a year now and have always had a good experience until yesterday, June 8. My girlfriend, her 3 year old daughter and myself came in the store to shop for pre-workouts. Not sure if this lady was the manager or manager on duty, but she asked us for help once and we declined because we were just browsing for the time being. Over the course of the 15-20 minutes in the store, she kept following us and glaring because my girlfriend's 3 year old was giggling and being goofy like a 3 year old should be. When we went to checkout, a guy behind the counter was ringing my girlfriend out so I proceeded to the other register where the manager was operating and was clearly open because she had helped a couple customers before that. I put my stuff on the counter and she turned her back and walked away with no acknowledgement. So I went back and waited in line. Meanwhile, my girlfriend's daughter was putting her hands on the glass door without me knowing until I turned around. The "manager" then put a window cleaner spray bottle on the counter to prove some point. This happened again and the manager should VISIBLE frustration by exhaling loudly and putting her hands to her palm to her forehead to show the frustration. Long story short, I WILL NOT be coming back here. I work customer service as well and this was the definition of POOR customer service.
