Good enough for a bowl of hot food. They have all kinds of my favorite dressing! I like the sesame balls. Place is nice and clean. Offers cups and water at self-service area.
Decent food and service. If you don’t want any protein, they can give you 3 vegetables instead of the standard 2. Convenient location. It’s very close to the Alamo Draft House movie theater so you could grab a quick bite before or after a movie.
Not even done with my food and I had to start writing my review about how amazing it is. This place is fantastic! Great ambience inside, plenty of seating and it doesn’t feel cramped. Everything is already cooked - you pick your base and sides to create a bowl. It tastes extremely fresh though with delicious seasoning. Highly recommend the dumplings too - as someone else said, they’re the best I’ve ever had. I’m already planning the next time I can come back.
The food is so good! For about $10 you can get one bowl with lots of rice/noodles, lots of protein you choose and two veggie options. They even have "bubble tea" but they don't market it as that - it's lychee tea with lychee jelly and it's so yummy! They have lots of sides but frankly the bowls have so much food in them, you're full even before you finish. There's a lot of seating but I wish there was more during dinner hours. The staff is super friendly. There are Vegan/Vegetarian options! Overall, would come back again.
The food here is delicious and they give you a generous serving. Most of the food is cooked already. You get to choose a base, a protein, veggies and top it off with some garnishes. I thought the roast pork was the best protein choice. Service was quick and the prices were reasonable for what you get.
The food is good. The only problem is with the pork. They cook too many pieces of FAT so that the meat the pork you think you are getting is actually large pieces of fat that is cut from the pork. Great for flavoring but I do not need forks full of it.
Quick and casual, with above average portions truly making it bomb. This place is the Chipotle for Chinese food - you choose your base, protein, veggies, and garnishes, as they fill your bowl up to the brim. I got the green fried rice & veggie fried rice half & half, market chicken, Sichuan eggplant, garlic string beans, and a variety of garnishes. First time I've seen green fried rice, which seems to be a specialty here, and they were kind to fill my bowl with a freshly made batch of it! Glad I call this place part of my neighborhood and will be back the next time I want to grab a quick and filling bite.
I have been twice...didn't like it the first time, but went again because the reviews are so high. Still terrible. Pros: lots of food for $10 and the green beans are delicious. Cons: the meat options are gross. Overall flavor is just off and unappetizing.
Super fresh ingredients and tons of options and flavors. Right next to the BQR and other stops. Very clean and friendly staff.
The food is well prepared and flavorful, and they give you a lot for what you pay. However the service I received from one of the servers was rather unattentive. She did not greet me, and didn't seem interested in helping me understand how the menu worked. She also went ahead and closed the lid before I could pick my toppings. Upon inserting my credit card for payment, she walked away and began putting together another order take out. I ended up standing there awkwardly for a good half minute before another server in the kitchen noticed this, and came to follow up on the transaction.
