Good vibe and big portions of food. Their fires are very delicious and crunchy, they even taste when reheated as left overs. The famous Bloody Mary comes with beer to wash the taste off a bit, love the cheese and sausage that were added into the drink, definitely very different experience. Cheese curds are awesome too! A good place to hang out and chill. Ask if you can get seated at the second floor for better view.
There was a small wait to be seated outside but there are 2 bars to get a drink and wait by. The staff were great. The food was worth the wait! Cheese curds were hot and gooey and my burger was made to perfection. My new favorite place. Can't wait to go back!!
We have to say, this was an amazing brunch. Wicked Hop is very busy but the wait is seldom what it’s anticipated to be, we were told 40 min and it was about 20-25, barely paid for our amazing Bloodies before it was ready. As for the food, outstanding is an understatement. From French toast with gelato may I add to the skillet called Hoodoo Voodoo Hash that has…you guessed it…crayfish tail meat!!! Food was amazing and service was wonderful and fast!!!
Definitely get the mini donuts! I got the salmon BLT which was great and something I've never had anywhere else. My husband and daughter had the long grilled cheese but unfortunately they were out of the long bread. It was still delicious. The service was speedy and friendly and the environment was fun.
Our family had Saturday morning brunch at The Wicked Hop. Great location in the Third Ward - right in the middle of everything and across from the City Market. Loved the setting in the restaurant. Fun and updated but preserved the character of the 100+ yr old building. Tons of brunch options - my teenagers loved the French toast platter and the Belgian waffle. Try the Brat Patty instead of traditional sausage - was outstanding. Service was quick and delightful. Great place - and probably quite fun for drinks in the evening.
Great old town atmosphere. Fast friendly service. Cheese curds were great. Had an awesome Rueben sandwich. I would recommend this place if you’re in the mood for a good sandwich or salad.
Sat at the bar on a Sunday for brunch. Quick service. Bartenders were nice. Food was excellent. We like it better as a brunch place than evening bar. As a bar/dinner it’s a 4 out of 5. But great brunch and not as long a wait as other Milwaukee brunch places
Went here for after dinner drinks and had a great time. The unexpected dj added to our already fun evening, as did the smaller dance floor and artistic bar. The outdoor ice bar was beautiful, connected to a covered space with tables, heaters, and a corn hole set. Had there not been a blizzard during our visit, we definitely would have spent more time outside.
Bummer...no crab legs. Cheese curds ok. Wings were very little chicken, mainly bones and fried batter. IPA Broken Arrow beer outstanding. Great location. Staff is friendly, helpful! PS - Fish Tales across street in Public Market has crab legs and much more!
Awesome spot highly recommend it! Was in the city for the weekend for my son's birthday and had bad service across the street so went in to the Wicked Hop and explained my scenario as it was getting late and they were 100% accommodating Nate our server/manager was outstanding food was great plus great vibe with DJ. Thank you Wicked Hop we will be back soon!
