Story

Different than most oddity/curiosity shops in that our aim is not to shock and disgust. Like the Victorians, we strive to create a shopping experience that is elegant, avant-garde, mysterious, eccentric and just a little eerie.

We offer A rare shopping experience where you can purchase anything from Gothic Victorian jewelry to a Malaysian mermaid all while perusing a selection of unusual and bizarre art and artifacts from around the world. A place where the religious, the occult, the heavenly and the grotesque meet.

This place is really unique and fun. There was a super sweet black woman whose name I forgot to get, but she was so nice, educated, and helpful!

This establishment has the raddest collection of vintage medical equipment, bones, preserved insects, brass, seashells, and so much more!  Their taxidermy is exquisite.  My daughter loved seeing the Anti-Clause and his evil elf!

Neat store with many amazing cool oddities for sale or for viewing. There are a couple real human skeletons, taxidermied animals,  jewelry,  stones, drums, sage, etc. Funny, nice employees. Great time!

Highly recommend this place for all you unusual needs. Ask for Lawyer he's the best.

Dark, beautiful, amazing. Unique gifts, taxidermy, and atmosphere for unique people. Nothing like this place anywhere.

What a spectacular place. It's like walking into a vintage haunted house and everything is for sale. Friendly staff and a broad range of surprisingly affordable spooky knick knacks. A must see in Houston, and probably Texas as a whole. I spent 1.5 hours just looking around and picked up a few gifts.

This store was simply amazing. Fantastic works of art, unique items, crazy cool taxidermy. You could tell the owners are really kind, cool and talented individuals. It is incredibly  awful that it got attacked by an arsonist. I'm hoping to see it rise again as it was a local gem.
