They sell varietries of rice bowl, pho and side dishes but the serving is quite small for its price. ~$10 Pho is being served in a medium sized paper bowl. Seaweed salad is nice and tasty, not frozen which i really enjoyed. Pot stickers are fine. I could try their other food selection, I just wish it's cheaper but I understand that food trucks are a bit of an effort.
This food truck was one of the options during our lunch hour for a school district meeting. I didn't realize the only "meat" options were popcorn chicken or tofu until it was my turn to order. I can't eat wheat, so I had to order the fried tofu with my rice bowl. The yellow curry sauce was good, but what happened to normal chicken?? I felt disappointed and a little nauseous from the tofu.
I am with a lot of the reviews on here, how is this such a high rating. What a disappointment. Customer service was really awful to start out, and the guy taking orders barely listened to me. The food was not great, and I got the jumbo bowl thinking it was going to be this great food - Um not even close. I really wanted to like this place and maybe have it be a favorite at our work, but now I know why there were no lines for this truck. The chicken was nuggets with barely any sauce, the flavor is bland and well, it just wasn't good. I hope they can find a way to fix this or they are going to be in trouble soon with staying in business. A happy smile and good conversation can go along way when the food isn't on point. I really wanted to give this a better rating, but when I have a lot left over food, not a good sign.. Good luck..
I wanted to love this place, unfortunately it missed the mark. Food ordered: Yellow Curry with 2 Pot stickers. Pros: Quick and was actually spicy. Cons: The chicken has to be just cheap chicken nuggets. gross Not enough curry Taste missed the mark
I don't understand how this has a 3.8 rating right now. Went to the food truck that was at the Bountiful Chalk fest May 18th. Orange chicken, jumbo size - 10 dry pieces of chicken think like half of a boneless wing each, a *small* ladle of some runny sauce that may have resembled something orange before it was mixed with corn syrup and water. A pound of rice underneath that seemed to have soaked up most of the sauce that somehow didn't make it on the chicken. Curry chicken, regular size - some chopped chicken bits covered in a yellow curry that doesn't have any curry flavor, but is still slightly spicy. Also with lots of rice underneath that had soaked up the sub-par sauce. I think this is the worst food trick experience I've ever had. We spent $20 on 1.5 pounds of cooked mushy rice, some knockoff Tyson chicken, and bad curry and sauce to top it off. I don't know if this specific food truck crew just didn't care about what they were doing or if this is how all the food is, but I am not trying again. Tl;dr You could make a better, cheaper meal by raiding a broke college student's freezer.
Never tried this place, but I got through half of my food before I was impressed to write a 5 star review. The food is soo tasty, I'll likely try it again.
Our favorite food truck! The food is delicious and reasonably priced! Loved everything we have ordered - especially the orange chicken, pot stickers, and mango sweet rice! Can't wait to try their pho!
If what you want is McDonalds chicken nuggets barely drizzled with strange sauce then this is the place for you. It in no way resembles Orange Chicken. The rice was good but I threw the chicken away. $7 for a bowl of rice is steep. I’ll stick with the burger or Waffle Love trucks. This place sucks and it made me sick for the rest of the night. If I could give zero stars I would.
Chicken was nasty, gristley and fatty with pieces of bone and cartilage. Rice and curry would have been good except for the chicken grease. If you like nice meaty pieces of breast meat, don't eat at this food truck.
I had Theip’s Eats cater my company event and they were fabulous and provided excellent service. It was such a nice treat to have a food truck and still be able to keep social distancing during this pandemic. We fed everyone in small waves and spread the lunchtime out so we didn’t have any cross-contamination or exposure. This company cares about safety and works with you on your budget!
