Once you walk in, you can feel the good energy. Between the staff, the clean environment, even the cool architecture on the ceiling; it just all works. Ordered a Double-Shot of Wheat-Grass $4.00 and it was delicious. It is very nice to be able to watch the entire process; as they make your order. If I am ever in Boston again, I will definitely be stopping-by. Highly recommend you give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
Their smoothies taste like you drained all the flavor out of fruit, froze it, shoveled the result into a recyclable cup, and then sold it for 5x what the cost was for the ingredients. The employees were very nice and helpful with understanding the menu. The store itself was also very clean and well managed!
Really good juices / smoothies. I get it as part of my Mealpal if I want a lighter, healthier lunch. The smoothies are about medium thickness not runny/liquidy, but also not super thick. Very tasty and fresh. If you like smoothies / juices, highly recommend trying out. I've had the Java Berry Jolt and Peruvian Pick Me Up and both do not disappoint.
They have different types of fresh vegetables juice as well as smoothies. I wasn’t a big fan of the combinations they have and enjoyed the idea I could get fresh juice, choosing the ingredients I prefer. From this viewpoint I was very grateful. I did give it only 4 stars for not having bigger size than 16oz, for not being organic and charging too high of a price.
I'm a big fan of these kinds of juice places, so I've given Thirst several chances. Unfortunately, I've never left satisfied with what I ordered. On about half of my visits, they were out of ingredients for some of their primary menu items. I was visiting around lunchtime, so I would assume that they should have everything in stock. If it was 4 or 5PM, I could understand being out of certain things, but not at lunchtime. The drinks I've had there aren't bad, but they lack that boost of flavor that I expect from a juice. Drinks from Thirst taste more bitter than their counterparts nearby. They're likely healthier, but simply don't taste as good. The "melon ball" was decent. The sugar in the cantaloupe gives it nice sweetness, the apple give it some sour, and the ginger gives it some spice. The combination of the three result in something enjoyable. The "bad monkey" was not good. Looking at the menu ingredients cacao nibs, cacao powder, banana, coconut milk, ..., I was expecting a sweet, silky chocolaty smoothie. Unfortunately, it just tasted very bitter, with large chunks of bitter cacao nibs. To be fair, I'm not a huge fan of bitter chocolate... to someone who enjoys dark chocolate at say, 80%+, would probably love this drink.
Staffs are kind, Great juices, good smoothies. You can also enjoy Arai bowls
Best juice bar in town. By far. And I’ve been to them all. I stop in here every time I am in the area. Never disappoints. The owners are local badass entrepreneurs too. They are as smart and wonderful as they are healthy. The Thirst Juice Co. Crew is always on their game too. Reliable, consistent and wonderfully energetic. Thirst is my favorite breakfast spot. They've got smoothies, wheatgrass, turmeric and ginger shots, and the best coffee in town. Outstanding lunch menu as well. The Pink Unicorn or Bad Monkey with some avocado pudding and superfood bites is an amazing noontime treat. Seriously, there is no better place to hit when you’re in town. Support your local businesses. These guys are the best. Five Stars.
I came here for a açaí bowl in the morning, I eat them almost every morning, and I was very disappointed with the bowl. I paid $10.00 and some change for this bowl and it came with a sprinkle of granola on the top. That’s it! I should have gotten it in a smoothie so I could drink it. There was absolutely no topping. I also paid for agave drizzle on top and there was none. The bowl itself tastes good but I couldn’t even eat a quarter of it because there was nothing to eat up with a spoon. Became soup like so I poured it in a cup and put it in the fridge to drink later. Had to go get another thing for breakfast so I wouldn’t be hungry.
Staff are very respectful and answer any questions you may have, delicious smoothies, very healthy, gluten free & low sugars. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Especially if visiting Boston and need something either filling or tasty to drink or eat. One of a kind places.
I was in town for work for a week and came to Thirst every morning for breakfast. As someone who has to eat gluten free, this was the perfect place to start my day. I tried multiple things on the menu and everything was delicious. I've been craving one of the bowls every day since and wish there was a Thirst where I live!
