This Is It Bakery & Deli

The name of the place says it all... If your looking for a sandwich joint/ bakery look no further because this is it Bakery has it all. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and crafted with care. They are always worth the wait. Burgers and lunch sandwiches are made fresh when ordered. Packaging of the sandwiches are fine. Always a great place to grab breakfast on the go or on your way to work. Swing on by and support your local businesses!!

Hmmm. Sorry but I will not go back for their bagels unless they failed to bake them properly on the day I visited there. Hard and sort of dry. I prefer moist and bouncy ones. Also, when can I get muffins, doughnuts etc? I went there around 10:30 and saw none other than packed cookies and bagel chips. Was I too late? Bagel chips are not too bad because they are dry anyway . Staff member was friendly.

I was a bagel refugee for a long time Honolulu. After several disappointing experiences with bagel exploration, I was convinced that the best option I could have in Honolulu was to get a bulk of Einstein bros bagels from Costco. I heard about This is It from my longtime Honolulu resident who also used to live in D.C, so my expectation was inevitably pretty high. Their bagels come in irregular cute plump forms, relatively smaller than an average size. I went with a poppy seed bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese and breakfast sandwich with eggs and Portuguese sausages. I never had such a sundried tomato-y cream cheese before, it was soooo good!! My husband had a everything bagel, which was not too salty but had good garlic and onion flavor. We loved it! I bought energy bagel at my second visit, which had quinoa, raisin, and walnuts. So far, my fav is poppyseed only because I love this kind too much. We’ve only tried sundried tomato and lox cream cheese, but other flavors look delicious as well! Service is pretty quick in spite of how busy they get. Out of two times we went, the same two ladies were working so hard and kept the place neat and efficient.

Cafeteria-style ordering. The staff is really helpful and willing to answer any questions. Food is always tasty. The only drawback is it seems like the air condition is never working I'm not sure it's if it's because of the bread ovens or bad insulation or poor ventilation

Absolute BEST bagels and SERVICE on the island! We love this place, and we always get the best service when we come in. They know our order, and make it quick! My BF is from NYC, and he says these bagels are legit! I just love how good they are. This is the ONLY place to buy bagels on Oahu!!!

Best bagels in Oahu! Minus a star because one of the staff was annoyed and rude to everyone. Other lady was nice though! How does that work, good bagel lady bad bagel lady? Oh ya, the hazelnut coffee creamer on Bar was over a month past expiration date. I handed it to the mean bagel girl. She looked at me with the “zero f%#*s given” face. Usually wound never return with such bad energy from staff but bagels so good. Get the salmon lox bagel. Don’t get the bacon/egg one, it’s so bad. Not sure about donuts but coffee was very bad- go somewhere else for that first. Bagels are A+ quality!!!

I live on the Big Island now and as one might imagine, it's nearly impossible to find a decent bagel let alone one made into a sandwich!!! When I came to Honolulu on business last week, literally the 1st place I made a B-line for was THIS IS IT for a Sesame bagel with Turkey & provolone with all the fixin's of course! It was sooooo good like always : I should've brought one more to take back to home with me! YUM!

UPDATE: Closes on 29 May 2021 The Owners are retiring..., I wish them good fortune and cheer. I will greatly miss "This Is It." The BEST on Island. I will really miss Rossi - thank you for always treating me like Ohana. Bam! A good bagel place in Honolulu. Best part - they even serve bialys!!! I have been searching for a decent bakery made bagel and have found the place. Get there early!!! If you want your choice of bagels - get there by 7:00 am - otherwise, the pickings get slim as the day goes on. They staff is smart to do this to ensure quality control. Update - The best around. And even better, they have strict controls to ensure customer safety. Best part of my day is stopping by here.

It's the only place on the island I eat bagels from. And their home made creamcheese is unbelievable!! I've been going there since they open. The sandwiches, cookies and fresh baked bread are awesome too. They also sell the best fresh juice... Govindas. I take my family, friends and occasionally my students, and they all leave with a smile on their face. It's kinda funny when I hear some of them say after taking a bite out of a bagel. "I normally don't like bagels, but these are delicious" "What's the name and address of this place?" I've been there so many times they know me by name and my favorite order there. Great service too!! How? "Rossi", She sails a tight ship there with a super crew. They keep things going fast and efficient. Countless times I've made phone orders, and they've never missed a beat. THIS PLACE IS IT!!!

I like the bagels and the service is extremely efficient. Great selection of drinks. Definitely the working persons place. Well worth the three mile walk. They also have donuts which I didn't try on this visit.
