A wonderful museum. You get to tour his childhood home, depicted as Dixieland in Look Homeward  Angel. It's 85 percent original contents.

October 21, 2017- I and mom was first time visit tour of Thomas Wolfe Memorial house so beautiful, very old stuff, history ago. My iPad took many pictures. Enjoy around tour is great time.

A must see and experience this bit of history. More than a story about an author, his life journey including his family. His mother's story and business in itself was worth the tour. Please support their cause and save this historical home.

Unfortunately we went over Christmas and it was closed but we walked around the outside and it looked well preserved.  Next time we visit Asheville,we'll be sure to visit.

Cant say anything about the memorial since we were actually outside attending the annual Thomas Wolfe Run.
