A short walk, but filled with interesting views of the marshes, abandoned railroad tracks and buildings, and all sorts of wildlife. Makes a great walk for nature lovers, or explorers of all kinds.
We spent a couple hours on this trail. The kids love picking up sticks and rocks on the way, and enjoy discovering ruins and parts of the abandoned railway. Some parts are easy to hike and some aren’t. Great place to have a little adventure with young children!
The Quinnipiac River is beautiful but the trail runs alongside the remnants of dilapidated train tracks and abandoned buildings covered in graffiti, with rusting barrels strewn about the place.
Windy enough it sounded like jets taking off!
They really cleaned this area up. It used to be a dump but now it's beautiful. Walking the trails was nice.
Nice place for a walk off the beaten path, but the trails could use some grooming. And watch out for ticks!

Amazing and gorgeous and super cool!
Great walking or biking trail. Lots of good views and ways to get down to the water to fish. Be careful of poison ivy when walking. Enjoy the beautiful scenery!
