Finally a B&B lodging option for travelers visiting Nashua, Manchester, Lowell, and surrounding towns.
Built in 1774, Timber Post is a historic colonial set on over two grassy acres of rolling farmland in quaint Hollis, NH. Removed from the hustle-and-bustle yet conveniently located just six miles from downtown Nashua, 25 minutes to Boston-Manchester Airport, and less than an hour to Boston, Timber Post is suitable for both business and leisure travel.
Low-key and unpretentious, the property allows you to feel yourself and leave the rest of the world behind. The entrance is via an enclosed garden, with its curved brick walk, water fountains, and a canopy of trees.
Once inside, the home's exposed hand-hewn pegged timbers, wide plank flooring, and massive center chimney fireplace exude warmth, strength, and rustic comfort. Unlike many antique colonial houses, Timber Post provides guests with ample areas for spreading out, relaxing, or socializing in the spacious great room, dining room, den, screened-in porch, or farmers porch.
Upstairs are five bright guest rooms each with it's own character. The largest room features a fireplace surrounded by built-in cabinetry. This room also adjoins the smallest room making it perfect for groups or families who wish to stay together yet have separate quarters. We also have a first floor accessible that has two twin beds.
Amenities include healthy full breakfasts with farm fresh eggs and locally grown products, clean and modern bathrooms, ample parking, flexible check-in/out times, free wifi access, and wireless printing of boarding passes.
