Tip Top Nails

Worst nail salon experience ever! From what I observed from them this is a family owned business and the lady who did my nails is the mom; she was very rude yelled at me twice when I was just telling her the shape and length of the nails I wanted. The lady’s mother came into the salon and as she was talking to her the lady pinched my shoulder to get my attention… I laughed it off but it actually left a mark. Lady also cut me with the buffer many times… And it’s not like she’s talented and skilled enough for me to look the other way- the nails are incredibly lumpy and uneven, my cuticles have never looked worse and she didn’t cover my entire nails in acrylic. HORRIBLE experience and people! I don’t typically write reviews but this salon should not be running. BONUS: there was a lady that walked in the salon while I was getting my nails done with a strong Caribbean accent, they were insanely rude to her and made fun of her accent.

Today i went to tip top nails for manucure and pédicure and i had a pédicure with mimi she was so lovely and really Nice with me and my twins she helped me a lot with them because i dont have anybody to baby-sitte them she did a pédicure for me and that was perfect thank you mimi . And the guy i forgot his name did for me a manucure its was so dispointed i showed him a picture of what i want and he was so painfull i was like craying inside me and the final result iwas shocked it's looks not at all like what i asked for and he was in rush . He was Nice but his work was terrible

When I first came here I felt good vibes and wanted to tell everyone I knew because the owner drew me in, not only with his vibes, but also because he's a nail connoiseur, till my second visit. The owner had his son charge me, and I understand with all the confusion, the kid made a mistake and overcharged me. I called the owner and to make a long story short, the owner's financial ethics are questionable. Firstly, because he was hesitant and did not believe me. I felt bad because I did not expect him to act the way he did. He needs to let his son learn from his mistakes, and also give people the benefit of the doubt. In the end he returned my money, I was not " double charged" like he said. With all that said, he could have made things better by offering me a discount, because $55 dollars for acrylic refill nails is too damn much money. Other than that, just make sure they don't cut your cuticles after your nails are done, they'll charge you without telling you. Be absolutely sure!!!

I feel terrible with this review, but there’s an older woman that works there that should not be doing this anymore. I felt sorry for her as she struggled to get my nails done. She couldn’t file them correctly, I had to point out the smudges around my nails that needed to be cleaned because she couldn’t see them. And don’t even get me started on the cuticles. She missed by skin several times, gave me a small cut on my ring finger and she should not be working with a cuticle nipper at all! She could really hurt someone by accident! You can see how fainted some of the paint is on the top sides of my nails too. The pedicure was fine, hence the 2 stars.

Mr. T did my nails, and I am just ecstatic over them! He gave me the best nails I have ever had. I love them so much. Mr. T was courteous and friendly, professional and very skilled and passionate about his work. I loved the excitement he had doing my nails! Thank you Mr. T. You are truly a gifted artist. You gained a faithful, loyal customer.

Great service. Nail tech engaged me in personal conversations. Nail techs was not just talking to one another. I let the nail tech know I was going on a cruise. She did a tropical design on my nails. Got so many compliments on the cruise

My absolute favorite place to get my nails done! I always get so many wonderful complements on them!! Tien is my absolute favorite and everyone who works at Tip Top Nails is absolutely darling

I can't tell you how much I regret going here. I should have known better when I saw the rust spots on the equipment, deli meat on the chair next to me and rotting food on the floor. The older woman did my nails. The polish fell off within a day probably because it was chunked at the cuticle. I also was cut and now have an infection. I am now on my 4th of July trip and can't hike or play in the creek due to my infection and how sore my toe is.

I always get great service. I frequently get compliments on my acrylic nails. Highly recommended!ServicesAcrylic nails, Pedicure, Waxing

First time/walk in they were super accommodating and friendly! I will definitely come back anytime i am in Philly!
