Tobacco Road Coffee & Smoke Shop

Half bar/coffee spot, half tobacco retailer. They have a regular size walk in humidor for cigars and a cabinet of 20 house blends of pipe tobacco. No pipes. Not your usual pipe store. More of a super cigar friendly pipe bar than anything else.

Very, very smoky. If you're not sure if you want to smoke a cigar, go here and breathe... Same thing. And yes, I DO smoke a cigars, but, man, put in a fresh air exchange system! They DO have a few outdoor tables but it was raining and so... I wasn't even sure if I could stay, but nice crowd - including 20% women(!) - friendly staff, decent selection of typically overpriced cigars, nice selection of beers on tap especially local microbrews, some of which I've never even heard of. When they closed their doors they virtually had to chase out every customer - and the place was full. Pretty stupid business decision, but it could be a city ordinance.

Prices were ok, selection was just so so. I bought 11 cigars, the first one was mildewed, out the window it went. The dude who checked me out gave me a discount and was friendly and courteous so there is that. Hoping the others are ok, if so I'll change my rating.
