Tokyo Buffet

Tokyo Pop is top notch of the fair priced Asian buffets. They offer the usual assortment of dishes and also has a phenomenal array of sushi. I've been going to this place for years and have never really been let down. You can even order saki.

Great selection, friendly staff, good price and amazing sushi. I live 5 mins from this location and stop in often for yummy sushi.

Good food. A couple items had been out long enough to be cold, but great food overall. Friendly people. We will visit again.

Clean and a very plentiful selection to choose from. Sushi included in the buffet. Baby we had with us ate free.

I usually eat here about once a month. I love Chinese food and this place is a good buffet to go in and pig out. They don't have any shrimp on the lunch buffet and the calamari has some kind of spice on them that makes them simply too hot to eat. They have way too many chicken dishes on the line but you know that is you are coming back to eat there.

It was good for the price. The sushi was fairly bland, and their soups tasted a little weird. Otherwise, they had a lot of variety. They made sure everything was stocked and we never had to ask for refills. Go here if you want some good Asian cuisine for $10.49.

Our family recently moved to Greenwood from Indianapolis. We were close to the Plainfield Avon area and all of the buffets that we had called where we used to live we're all very rude. You had to flag them down to make sure that they refilled your drinks and they almost looked at you like they were wondering when you would leave. They were all very snappy on the phone. I usually crave Chinese food, but because of past experiences I haven't tried it in a while. So I thought I would give it a shot since we are in a different area. The lady on the phone was extremely polite and friendly and gave me all the information I needed. When we went in, she greeted us and give us the table we wanted and I kid you not, I would go up to get another plate and I would come back to our drinks refilled and all of the dirty plates cleared. They were very fast and courteous. The sushi there obviously is not going to be fancy sushi. Lunch is $7.49 a person so you can't expect very expensive sushi. However the sushi they had was very good quality and made fresh right in front of you. They were constantly putting out fresh food on the buffet and it all tasted very good. Nothing was too greasy like at other buffets. The place was also very clean. I didn't need to use the restroom so I can't say much on that, but I assume it was clean as well. Another fun thing. We have three kids. My youngest is 2 years old and likes to get up a lot. He dropped his spoon and instead of being annoyed, one of the ladies that work there that was putting utensils together at another table very calmly and politely offered him another spoon. I have honestly never been to buffet where the staff were actually nice. If you want some good cheap Chinese food and would also like really good service, I highly recommend this place.

Don't like giving negative reviews but I think the restraunt could do better. Their food on the buffet was at room temperature. Plus it was very greasy and some of the items like the fried chicken pieces were extremely salty. Didn't try the sushi because if it is at room temperature for very long it is a good way to get sick. The people were nice and friendly. I doubt I will ever go back there to eat.

This little gem is a staple for our family. I bet we eat here 2 times a month! It's inexpensive to fill up 2 growing boys with decent quality, tasty food. The sushi rivals many of the area sushi bars and the food is almost always the same recipe. The ice cream for dessert is a great way to send you off. The staff is always friendly and courteous. They are very patient to deal with the mess that kids often make and will readily clear away plates and offer refills. The food is the general Chinese fare with some mixed in southern cooking and sushi. A decent salad bar with fresh fruit is always well stocked. This is the best Asian inspired buffet on the south side of Indy.

Wanted to go here because it is around the corner from our house and we had never been. Not to mention we got a $1 off lunch buffet coupon so we thought why not? I got my first plate and it was pretty good. My second plate, not so much. The chicken that goes with the sweet and sour sauce tasted freezer burnt. I thought, okay, maybe bad batch. Next I eat the lo mein and it tastes so freezer burnt I can barely swallow it. I only ate two plates and dessert and I was done. I did not try the sushi so I cannot comment. Everything else I ate was pretty good.I don’t think this place was worth the $25 before coupon I would’ve had to pay for it.
