Wow I loved this experience! Such a friendly place! Everyone we encountered was very pleasant and kind. We picked up some veggies rolls and they threw in some free edamame which was cooked perfectly and a great idea to boost the nutrients in our meal. The youngest kiddo came in with me and was handed a coveted Ramune drink, which are hard to find these days. Generous, well priced and delicious! loved the sweet potato tempura! Thank you for a delightful lunch!
Overall very tasty and service was good! We went at lunch time and it was a bit busy so there was a long wait but not horribly long. They gave a complementary treat without us even asking for it so that was pretty nice. We got Cheese Wontons as an appetizer. The crispness was great but there wasn't much filling in them so that was slightly disappointing. I ordered the lunch size Chicken Hibachi meal. It comes with salad, onion soup, fried rice and veggies. The sauce used for the chicken, rice and veggies was very good. Portion size was very good sized. Onion soup was ok, I'm not a fan of onions though. Salad had a mustard like dressing that was better than I had expected. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Ramen not pictured and thought it was ok overall. It came with 4 California Rolls which was a nice surprise and were pretty tasty. We also got friend Cheesecake for dessert. First few bites were the best. The center was still a bit frozen. I would've liked more chocolate sauce than what was given.
I want to start by saying that I understand the labor shortage and was 100% patient thru this whole experience. With that being said, the service was horrendous and the sushinwas barely passable as sushi. The sushinrice fell apart and not 1 single bite of sushi was accomplished with an in-tact roll. Here was my experience from Sat Feb 5th..... 3 of us arrived at 7pm and expected to wait for a table. We patiently waited 30 minutes for a table. After being sat for 10 minutes, I asked for menus. After sitting for 15 minutes, we still had no water or order being taken, 20 minutes and still no water, 25 minutes passes and We all were parched from an hour wait. I had to stop a server and ask for waters. They brought waters and took our order 2 appetizers, 1 Hibachi salmon and 4 sushi rolls. There appeared to be 2 sushi chefs and 4 people on the floor working. After sitring for 30 minutes, our Seaweed salad and edamamae showed up. Over the next 20 minutes, we finished the appetizers and had tocask for water 3 more times. After being seated for 1 hour, the Hibachi Salmon showed up. 1:15 at the table and they brought is a complementary crab appetizer. The Hibachi Salmon was finished before they attempted to deliver our sushi. At this point, I watched them deliver 3 rounds of sushi to tables that sat AT LEAST 30 minutes after us. 1:30 they brought our sushi to the table with spicy mayo on the top which we ordered it on the side since my wife is lactose intolerant. They remade the rolls in 5 minutes and we ate. The sushi was falling apart, the rice was wrong and not holding anything together. I had high expectations and we were severely let down. After being in the restaurant for 2 hours, we have decided that we will not be returning.
Our server was absolutely amazing and the sweetest woman ever! She was showing the kids on the other side of the room pikachu and was just an amazing server over all! she is the best worker here and we loved having her as our server! the food is amazing and the atmosphere is top notch. can’t recommend this place enough.
Family friendly atmosphere. The wait staff is so kind and attentive! I really enjoyed my signature roll and the cute complimentary dessert at the end.
This restaurant offers a variety of items on their menu and they have great sushi! Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, and plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend and return!!!
The food tasted sooo good! And the portion size was larger than we expected. Very friendly staff as well!
We're not sushi people, so can't rate the massive sushi menu. We both had hibachi entres, and they were tasty with large portions. Wait staff was attentive and friendly.
I am Absolutely in love. The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. I will definitely come back
This place is the best Asian food in SF!! We have dined in and gotten to go many times. They always throw in free appetizers and the food is always fresh and delicious! The service is amazing. They are always so sweet and friendly with my kids! Will continue to frequent this establishment!Food: 5/5
