Tokyo Joe's

Great experience here. Staff was friendly and attentive. Bowls were made generously, promptly. Cant say how much I appreciate this, especially considering several Joe's locations are really lacking in quality customer experience. Love when my tofu is cooked just right too Thanks for the great service, keep it up! Will def be a go-to location of mine.

This weekend we went to Tokyo Joe's both Saturday and Sunday for dinner. There are so many options so it's not like you get bored plus it's to eat healthier while out shopping. The first night I got my favorite a Poke Bowl with a scoop of crab and the spicy aioli sauce. The second night because my friends Ramen looked so good I got the white chicken ramen with spicy-yaki sauce. The poke bowl remains my favorite.

Great location if you like Tokyo Joe's. Parking is a little wonky if you're east bound on Hampden and need to turn left to get to the restaurant. If that's the case for you, turn into the lower level of the parking garage, then head west to go up to the top desk. Once you're on the top deck, head east and you'll park much closer. Food is always excellent. I typically get the General Joe's soup. This is an excellent winter soup. Hearty. A bit spicy, but always filling and delicious. If I'm feeling particularly hungry, I'll pair a cup of General Joe's with a Tuna Poke bowl. Parking: Plenty of parking, but; if you're eastbound on Hampden the closest parking to the restaurant requires you to go through the lower level of the garage and up to the top deck.

I’ve been a TJs customer since the beginning. Some stores are better than others. Sometimes quality is a joke and the portions are skimpy, sometimes portions are heavy, and the green curry is spot on But it’s been my regular go to for 20 years! And I love it!! The bogo promo was not working properly for our dinner tonight and the gals working the counter helped make it right. So I am grateful for them for just making it work.

They all were a pleasure to work with and comped my meal after I had issues with payment. Store was very clean! Food was great!

Terribly slow and dirty. My wife and I have come here probably 6 times over the past year and with each visit service seems to get a little worse and this last visit was the worst yet. We only go back because enough time lapses that we forget about why we were displeased with this location from our last visit. This past visit: While walking in we both notices that the outside tables hadn't been cleared/cleaned and some birds were feasting on the leftovers. The young lady who took our order was nice and personable and that seems to be par for the course at this location. Which is good Everyone seems really friendly. However, being nice doesn't excuse slow service coupled with a messy restaurant. For fast food it took forever 20 minutes for us to get our order and there was no offer of explanation of the delay or apology for the delay when we finally did receive our order. There were 4 service workers standing behind the counter talking to each other waiting for the food to be cooked but meanwhile out in the seating area there were tables that needed to be bused and the drink station needed dealing with. The workers just stayed behind the counter chatting amongst themselves. I'm not sure how many tables they have there but I counted 9 that hadn't been cleaned including the 2 outside. Perhaps I just caught them during their changing of the guard but one would think that the more workers you have the quicker things would be. Oh and one of the 2 young ladies working a register at the time was talking to the other register worker while my wife and I were ordering talking about how she needed to go home to take a shower because she was dirty andstunk. Not exactly what you want to hear from someone who would be handling your food.

So this is real kitchen and real cooking? These are pan seared dumplings by Tokyo Joe’s. This is disappointing. We also got sushi which would have been better from the grocery store. The mojo bowls were ok but tasted like a microwaved meal. I do not write this on a whim. We have gone to Tokyo Joe’s for years and we understand that times are tough but putting out food like this is not ok.

Who ever is working today is very rude. I had ordered on-line for delivery and the website closed out. So went back in and finished payment not knowing had to check the order and it went default for a choice. I seen it and called to fix and a girl answered the phone I let her know I called in orer for delivery and she interrupted me and said we don't do delivery from store that is 3rd party. So when she finished I let her know that I knew that and I had an issue with the order.She responded oh what was your order name so gave it and she repeated it and so let her know issue with the website and I did not want the option on the ticket and needed to chang it she said oh fine ok thanks and ended the call. First bad service but a memorable one at that. If you don't want to work or not at the place you are then leave don't have to make customer's feel unwelcome or be rude.

Food was great! Service was very slow. There were 3 tables with customers. We waited 35 minutes for our food. We had two children with us.
