We found Tom through word-of-mouth after I posted a vague IG story asking for recommendations for "NYC event photographers." We were so lucky to find him. We identified photography as the most important aspect of our wedding day, and Tom's portfolio had everything we were looking for and more. We were looking for a photographer that had a strong sense for composed shots and candid shots, and Tom's work checked those boxes, easily. The "special" aspect of Tom's work is that he has a brilliant eye for capturing the quirky moments/personality of your wedding day, which makes for lovely photos that are truly unique to your wedding day--it wasn't something we had in our original wishlist, but we are so glad we have it! Lastly, Tom passed the vibe check with flying colors--he is super easy going, lighthearted and quick to crack a joke--our whole family loved him and enjoyed hanging out with him for the day. We loved our photos + super 8 film. Thank you Tom!

Tom started out as our engagement/wedding photographer and we are now so lucky to be able to call him our lifelong friend. His professionalism, kindness, and talent has rendered me near speechless - to the point that writing this review feels impossible. How could I possibly put into words how special he made our wedding day? Photos are so, so important to me and I knew that picking the most professional and organized photographer was essential. Not once did I have to contact Tom to ask for updates. He was timely with his emails and made sure far in advance of the wedding day that all the details were secure. Tom has such a gentle and calming energy - an energy that is so very necessary during one’s wedding day. He really felt like part of the family and made everyone feel so comfortable. The day we got married was incredibly hot and humid and Tom went with the flow of the weather and day by never dragging out posed photos but rather by capturing natural moments as they happened. Before the church ceremony, we realized that we were missing pins for the boutonnieres and Tom saved the day by giving us the extra pins he had in his pocket !!!. He ensured that we stayed on schedule and yet we never felt rushed. It’s really quite difficult to convey how patient and reassuring he is! We had such a beautiful wedding day and Tom captured every single second of it with timeless photos. We never had to call Tom over to photograph something during our reception because he was always there, at the right time, getting the perfect shot. If you want a photographer that captures the true beautiful reality that is your wedding day, Tom is the one. My husband and I look at our wedding photos weekly and remind ourselves of how truly blessed we are to have had Tom as our photographer. Thank you so much, Tom!

Tom Leung is our hero! Our wedding pictures were better than we could have imagined, and Tom was a gem to work with in every phase of our planning and afterwards in getting us completed photos that are a lifetime memory. Tom is personable, supportive, and extremely artistic. At the event, he was relaxed and fluid, not missing a shot and happily going with the flow with requests. The shots came out wonderfully — all the usual suspects, plus super cool ones that felt really authentic to who we are. We adored his ideas and ran with his suggestions, and it was a true collaboration — he was happy to oblige when we had crazy ideas too. Tom is the MVP of our special day, and made our wedding the best it could be and better than we imagined. Our photos are priceless. I’d hire him 10X over.

We hired Tom to photograph our July 2019 wedding and had such a wonderful experience. From our initial meeting, we knew that he would be a great fit and would capture the aesthetic that we were looking for on our wedding day. Not only did the photos turn out beautiful, but we had our teaser photos less than 2 days after the wedding and the complete online album within 3 weeks of our wedding - followed by a thoughtful package, which included a flash drive of all the photos and a large stack of prints, which were his favorite pictures of the day. My husband and I loved going through all of the prints and it was such a special touch. I only have good things to say about Tom! THANK YOU for being a part of our wedding "team" that day!!

Our experience working with Tom was beyond all expectations and we had high ones! for our wedding photographer. From the moment we reached out to discuss his availability, we immediately felt as if he was a friend - he sent us a lovely gift box and his correspondence was always professional and accommodating. The day of our wedding, Tom's relaxed, easy going, and comedic personality provided the perfect environment for some of the best pictures we could have hoped for. Under his confident direction, we managed our time and shooting locations very efficiently and stress-free he took SO many photos!. Tom has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable which eased any anxiety of the day. He captured the candid moments and sheer joy of our day that tells the perfect story in photographs. Of note: Tom seemed to be everywhere at once but never in the way to capture so many different people/aspects/angles of each event, his use of natural light gave the photos the exact quality we were hoping for, and his style is so natural that we never felt "fake" or "posed" giving our wedding album a very journalistic vibe which we absolutely love. All this said, we couldn't recommend Tom highly enough to anyone!

First let me start off by saying that it took three days to complete our review of Tom because no words we could come up with were worthy of his talents. His genius can't be summed up into mere words. From the very early beginning of the day to the tail end of our late night reception, Tom was on point, high energy and motivated to get the most incredible shots. He did everything with a level of precision that was truly remarkable. Everything from the detail shots rings, shoes, dress, etc. to the church photos, to the pictures of our incredibly large bridal party were impeccable. Throughout the course of the day, Tom photographed everyone from young, uncooperative children to the very elderly and made every single shot come out incredible. Some of our pictures we have received as "teasers" truly look like they could be put in a magazine. Tom knew exactly what photos to get, but also let us ask if we could take additional pictures we had in mind that we wanted. He rolled with every punch that was thrown at him and did it with a smile. Our families are in awe at how wonderful our teaser photos are. Tom truly exceeded our very high expectations. Tom is the photographer to beat in terms of wedding photos!
