I was referred to Dr Vu a couple years ago by my primary care doctor when I was in search of a new OBGYN. Dr Vu has made me feel nothing but comfortable at all times. I recently had a surgery with Dr Vu and it went smoother than I could have ever hoped. I am a local realtor and I will from now on refer all my female clients who are new to the area & friends to Dr Vu now as I know they will be placed in good hands.
Dr. Vu was my OB during my very brief 10 week pregnancy last year. At my first appointment I was very concerned with spotting I had been having since the beginning. She insisted it was "normal" and that I could continue with my normal routine, although the baby was measuring small. She also noted that this was "common" and that my dating must be off. It was not off. This was all at my 8week appointment. Flash forward to 10 weeks and I'm in the ER having a miscarriage. While I completely understand that a miscarriage cannot be stopped, I never felt like Dr. Vu took the time to listen to my concerns and just continued to tell me "this is normal". I know my body and what I experience was not normal. I am currently pregnant again and seeing another OB in this office with whom I have a great relationship and understanding. I will refuse service with Dr. Vu simple for the fact that she never listened to me.
I have been s patient of Dr. Vu’s for several years now. Dr Vu has been patient, kind, knowledgeable and helpful with myself as an older women, and my Daughter in her 20s. She has a great office staff and I’ve seen other doctors in her practice when I made last minute appointments and was pleased with my treatment and with the treatment of my daughter.
Dr. Vu has been my doctor for the past few years and I am very happy with her care and the wonderful service at her offices. She is very compassionate and takes time to listen to my concerns and I feel that anyone under her care is lucky to have her!
I am 8 weeks pregnant and was given a referral from my PCP to go to see Dr. Vu. When I tried to make my appointment to see her, I mentioned that I also am seeing a midwife. I was then transferred to billing where I was told that office policy was not to accept me as a patient. When I asked why I was told that they do not work with midwives. I told them that was fine, they would never be asked to talk to my midwife they wouldn't be working with her, they would be providing me medical care during my pregnancy. I was then told they would not take me as a patient because it was office policy. This office refused to provide me with medical care and discriminated against me because I hired a midwife out of pocket. They clearly show that what they care about if the money they are getting from insurance companies and not the care of clients. The idea that there may be a slight chance that they would not receive payment from my insurance if I didn't labor with one of the doctors at that office is enough to refuse me medical care during my pregnancy. They don't care about women's health, they care about how far deep they can dig into the pockets of the insurance company and walk away with. Truly disappointed in the discrimination I received not to mention the refusal to provide me medical care as a paying and client with insurance.
I have only seen her twice the first time for a consult and second time she did my outpatient surgery I myself work in the medical field and she has great bedside manners when she came to see me before she performed procedure she made me feel so calm and that everything would be ok you don't get that much now a days but I have nothing but good things to say she informed my family after surgery and made them also feel and ease great Dr. and would recommend her
Does not listen... "Dont worry its normal"....... Go to someone else.
Dr Vu is the most caring Dr I have had
