Town Hall Laundromat

Best experience I've ever had at a laundromat. Kathy and Gina were so pleasant. They were very kind and helped me with whatever I needed. I will be coming here moving forward. Thank you again! :

Make laundry simple! No more getting change by using card, place is immaculate, and done so fast with so many size washing machines! Lastly and most important, the staff is amazing making you feel at home from first visit!

EDIT following response: I didn't do the loads myself. I dropped them off and paid for them to be done by the laundromat. So I had no control over which machines were used for how long. We brought several loads here when our washing machine was out if commission and many of our clothes were shrunk to an unwearable size! Sweatshirts with decals were ruined. Sweatpants are now ankle length or capris. The strange thing is, one load was totally fine so I don’t know if it’s a particular dryer there that totally just cooks stuff or someone let it go far too long but it’s a huge bummer. SO much stuff ruined.

Local business with wonderful community ties … all our laundry and scrubs come out neatly folded, soft , and freshly laundered ! The staff are always so welcoming and polite !

I have been using this laundromat for the last couple of months. My question is to you is, do you sanitize all the folding tables because what I saw made me question this because I do fold my clothes on the table when I remove them from the dryer. I saw a person putting their dirty laundry on the table and unfold each one and clean them but what threw me was when he threw his dirty sneakers on the table and then removed his shoes and threw them on the table. He had his dirty laundry on top of different washing machines. If I had come in and saw this, I would have walked right out the door.

I have been going here for a couple years to do my laundry since my washer broke. I haven’t bothered to replace it yet. I do my laundry in an hour. The staff is great. Consider them friends at this point. It is convenient and clean. Do errands in Johnston while I’m there. Can’t say enough. The owner and staff go out their way to provide great and sincere customer service.

The lady that works here refuses to help open the bleach that the laundrymat supplies because she don’t want bleach getting on her. Why work here then? Well I ended up getting it on my Michael Kors sweater!! Thanks townhall laundrymat appreciate it smh

This review doesn’t come lightly. I’ve been going here for 4 years. And I’ve always enjoyed going. But as of lately, I’m hesitant to go, some of the newer employees, seem to have forgotten the common sense of not talking about customers, when other customers are there. I’ve given them three fair chances. Hoping it was an off day…so they can prove me wrong. But not today. And I often wonder if the cards were reversed, how would they feel, if all that negativity was about them? Even the simple task of doing laundry now has turned into more than just that noawadays. Beware the moment you walk out… you might be their next topic of discussion.

Well I don't no where to begin! Town Laundromat is the best! This Laundromat is by far better then any I have ever been too .The machines are so clean and big! The people that work there are very pleasant and very helpful!! Also when I dont have time to do my own laundry I drop it off. I get it back smelling so clean and well folded.. all I have to do is put it away!!! I will never go anywhere elses. Thanks Town Laundromat for being the best !

Update: regarding there reply. That’s not true ! I left this review because me & a friend recently needed to use a laundromat for our clothing & I went by their reviews which did not match the place. Another women doing laundry came up to me stating her laundry was taking forever to dry. There was detergent build up in the slots that you put it in & as the water fills the washer you can see old dirty water in the window part. I don’t even live in Johnston to be friends with any other competitors. Wasn’t clean at all. 2 washing machines wouldn’t stop when time was up . Washing machine didn’t ring a normal size wash out well at all. Dryers didn’t work well either.
