Trail's End Cafe

Pretty good lunch. Service was nice but slow. Food was quite good. UPDATE: just went back. Very good food, faster service (after requesting fast service). One more visit like that and I’ll upgrade them to 5

I went for dinner and thought it was a really great experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt really nice and natural. The menu has some really delicious offerings. The falafel flat bread appetizer was so good!! The salad I had was fresh and flavorful. Overall I thought it was excellent!

The previous staff was always kind to us and would joke around. We didn't recognize any employees. The new hostess was kind, she took us to our table. The place was empty except for the bar. We waited 15min before the waiter finally came to bring us water. We only got to order an Old-Fashioned Drink and had to wait another 10min before the waiter brought it to the table. Still the restaurant was empty... My coworker mentioned how the cherry from the drink was missing, not complaining, just saying, since an Old Fashioned usually has one. The lady bartender overheard, got angry and started fussing about it with the staff and mocking my coworker. I had to signal the waiter to come back and quickly ordered our food since we learned he wouldn't come back for another 10-15min. We asked for bread and butter and order our food. Waited probably another 30min. We just came from a hard workout, so we needed food and this was killing us. A waitress brought our food, I said: "Thank you so much, we haven't received our bread and butter yet, could we have some please?" She rolled her eyes and left. Our waiter was nice to us, but just very slow for everything. At the end we ordered coffee. No utensils, and the waiter's hands were all over the rims... It even took maybe another 10min before we could even get the check. Their quality went from mediocre to the worst. The food made us both sick. They probably treated us poorly because we came in our gym clothes instead of our normal "higher-quality" clothing. We've never been treated badly by anyone at restaurants since we both like to talk to people and joke around, so this was very surprising. Honestly, we prefer Colonial Inn, the people there are much nicer and the food and drinks are decent. We just weren't able to eat there since their fire alarm kept going off.

Had lunch here a few times at the bar. Good food. Had drinks in the evening once. Nice cocktails.

Had a misunderstanding with the management but they called and cleared everything up. Food looks fresh and looking forward to coming back!
