Great selection, amazing quality of work. They can do plows, trailers, and even heavy duty diesel repair. Stop by!
If you need “that part” now, RON is the man to speak with and the only sales fella I go to, been there long time and KNOWS his job inside n outside alike! If you need “that service” done, done right, or an issue fixed, ZAIN is your man, hit’m up and he’ll get you taken care of!!
I've been without a vehicle for five WEEKS after a comedy of errors which culminated in Trailercraft losing the mounting hardware, ordering new ones that didn't fit, and extorting me for a custom fabrication after a faulty winch repair that I was told would require a second service charge i.e. I must pay for the incorrect parts. I was given the choice of being forced to pay for the replacement or have the vehicle returned. I chose option 2....and the van was then returned to me without reinstalling the grill or reinstalling the winch...with a bag, which included the "lost" square nuts that were the excuse why my van was in the shop for 5 weeks. It is beyond me how a company that prides itself on service allows this Alaska dealer to treat their customers. The van was in the shop for two weeks without any service being performed, and then when I showed to retrieve it the winch had still not been removed, requiring another 2 hour delay. This is after the first service where the tech noted it was being returned "repaired" but was only "working" sporadically - because the remote had been incorrectly prior to being returned to me. It is a well known embarrassment how poor the service in this state is because there is no alternative. I certainly found this out the hard way over the last two months. And for the record, I was polite about this with the staff every time....even after I was told it was my fault the van had not been repaired and I needed to pay for Trailercraft's mistakes despite the paperwork proving otherwise.
Awesome Dealership with people who actually care about their customers. Purchased a sprinter van from Jeff, custom order about a year ago. Honest, Punctual and ahead of schedule for our van. Recently had an issue with another sprinter giving me the run around in Texas and trying to get out of doing warranty work. Steven from the maintenance department took the time to help me out, and provide proof to the dealer in Texas that the items in question must be covered under warranty. Amazing service!
PRO’s: They got me in during the busy season within the same week for non working plow headlights. That’s very handy I’m sure during a busy time of the year. CON’s: Told me they needed the truck by 7 am which is an inconvenient time and then didnt touch it til about noon the following day. When I picked up the truck it had a cracked windshield from end to end horizontally right in your line of sight. When I brought it up to them they said it it must’ve been from a chip that spread when it was in the heated garage. I put it in a heated garage every night so it had to be a huge coincidence. Just didn’t seem like the level of concern from a business I spent almost 9k at since last year.
Very disappointing experience. My trailer was inspected by another facility that was honest and told me they wouldn't be able to work on it in a timely manner. They told me to check with TrailerCraft. I spoke with a service person at TrailerCraft in July that assured me they would have the work completed before October. The trailer sat in their lot for 2 months literally nothing was done. I had to push for an assessment to be sent to my insurance. When I called to ask for updates their answer was we're to busy nothing has been done yet. In the end I had to pick up my trailer and pay another assessment fee with no work done. If your shop is that busy don't accept more work and just sit on it or lie to customers to cash in on assessment fees!
The child at the service desk was less than friendly. I only needed a bolt put on a shock. Quoted 2 hours for the job, no estimate on time frame to get in. Waited an hour for a 3 minute job and tried to just buy the part. They didn't have one. So let me waste an hour for nothwhen I could have been looking elsewhere. I'll get towed to the lower 48 before I ever set foot in here again.
Not a great experience. Had to wait for our parts. Requested a morning pick up, left at noon. Believe it or not, they sold us the wrong parts! We live 200 miles away, this is a problem. Our new parts are a week away, or more! It seems there is a serious lack of communication.. This is not the first time either!!
After being scammed by the service department, I took my plow to Greatland Welding & Machine. They were able to repair my plow for $755. Trailer Craft quoted my $5,830.
The service department went above and beyond to get our motorhome aligned and back on the road so that we did not have to weight 3 weeks for an alignment. We will recommend them to anyone for any problem. Thanks Jack
