All the staff was wonderful to work with and had such great attitudes. They were extremely helpful and put up with our groups craziness. The Ride down the river was beautiful. It was so refreshing to see everyone helping each other during difficult spots and making sure everyone was safe. Will definitely return!
Had great time. Water very low got stuck few times. May want to remove some downed trees to help the experience. Price was good, staff was nice. Really enjoyed our time. Except when we got wet lol beautiful scenery!
Folks here were great. Group of five of us first thing this morning. We really enjoyed everything from check and van ride to picking up ID. We'll be back.
This staff is one of the best around. As soon as we got there, they were welcoming and helpful as well as when our trip ended. I spoke with them twice on the phone prior and very patient and explanatory about the trips as there are quite a few to choose from. Amazing, pleasant experience. Lots of smaller rapids and they explained where to go. We will return. Almost a 2 hour drive for us but we'll worth it. Highly recommend!
My wife & I wanted to go canoeing a decided to give Trapper John's a try. Pricing was reasonable and the staff was very helpful. We bought the 9 mile trip which was broken up into two legs. At the time of our trip the water was a little low so we scraped the bottom a few times no big deal. It was a sunny day so there were lots of turtles sunning themselves on rocks & logs. Birds, including blue herrings, were everywhere. It was loads of relaxing fun.
We took the short trip and had a wonderful time. The canoes and kayaks were clean and well taken care of. The ride back was nice as well. I will say pay attention to if it’s rained or not or ask a worker before so you know if there will be low spots.
Love that trapper johns has pet days throughout the summer! Very helpful staff.
Always a fun adventure at Trapper John’s! I’ve been coming for years and every season they have the best employees and offer a great time. Highly recommend for families, friends, and everyone in between!
First time kayaking and was able to go by myself with fishing pole and had a FANTASTIC TIME! The employees were so friendly and helpful! I am a big lady with bad knees and they have no problem helping me in and out of the kayak! and I thought the price was excellent! I highly recommend him and I will definitely will many more times!
Great place to get out on the water and rent a kayak /canoe. I'm there pretty regularlyas a private boater and the service is great. 4 stars only because of the price increases and what I feel "too many rules". While I understand the concerns that come with running a business like that, they feel a bit oppressive sometimes. Enjoy this opportunity, right here in grove city. It's a great time for adults and kids alike!
