Be very careful. This is a tourist trap. They make up their own rate called a "retail rate". It is a total farse. These theives charge you 20% for an exchange. 20 percent !!! They take the rate all of the banks and rest of the world uses and reduces it by 20% to make up their own rate called a "retail rate" What rip off and scam. I wish i could make up my own rate. They make their money preying on innocent people. This place is a scam.

I would NEVER use this currency exchange again, let alone give them 1 star, but giving zero stars isn't allowed. IN SHORT: They rip you off, they have the rudest, nastiest employees I've ever met in my life. If they break your luggage, don't expect anyone to care or help you. FULL STORY: You can find this exchange center immediately when you enter the airport on the ground floor. In the booth/center, I was greeted by an extremely rude African woman, that I wasn't even sure worked there. She was dirty and had a messy uniform and a horrible attitude. I asked for the going rate to switch from USD to Euros and she told me and said it would be nearly $10 to do it (which is a huge rip off). Then my mother who had gone to the bathroom, came just as she was about to hand me the euros and told her she would like to add more money to it. The woman refused and said it would be another $10 and then smirked and turned away from us to talk to another employee! I would NEVER recommend going to this airport ever or using the currency exchange here. They broke my luggage, and everyone is rude and ignorant, and can't even hide the fact that they hate people or their jobs and if you're leaving out of the country and want a smooth transition and to have a bit of cash on you, don't go here! Take the free advice and stay away!

Worst service ever! The lady was extremely rude and had no idea about money exchange. She wanted to give us a different rate than the offered rate (published there) saying that it was better for us but she didn't understand that we would lose money with the rate she was proposing. Furthermore, I saw how she behave with an old lady after us... it was a shame

shady , had 375. euros to convert to USD and only offered me $248.00 ? + $8.00 fee . I still have my Euros :P
