Tread Quarters Discount Tire

I DO NOT recommend this place. I was told the tire had no concert, last year I fixed a bigger hole than that with a $5 patch from Walmart. Surely if it was someone without knowledge they would have scared me and would have to compost another new tire without need. They charged me $47 to fix a tire with a screw. Time-consuming and expensive. Anyway, I must say that the staff were polite to my person.

In July my mom went to this store to get tires but got an up sale and work that only made things worse. Rodney looked up the work order and did not point a finger but started repairing the damage. He fixed the issue skipping lunch answering the phone with one hand the other steadily working on the car until it was correcthe was alone with no help that dayand completed the work right. The next day he and his other employee got it aligned right showing me the results before taking it off the lift. Mr.Tire needs more employees like the Rodney and the young man that got it right. 8/22-8/23 2022

I would highly recomend this place, very helpful staff and always willing to go the extra mile. There are alot of people who are very rude to the staff and make their life very difficult. I would always recomend coming here. Wether its a tire, an engine, the staff here will always help you.

Do not bring your vehicle to this shop. I brought my car for diagnostics on an issue with my battery dying. They told me I needed a new alternator and replaced it-$1300. Brought it home, the next morning, my battery was dead again. I jumped it off and brought it back to them. They had it for several weeks and never could figure out the problem and never called me with updates I always had to call them. I finally went back and they told me they couldn't fix it so I jumped it again and took it somewhere else. Within 3 hours they diagnosed that the amp for the radio in the car was blown and causing a drain on the battery, pulled the fuse for it and problem solved. I provided this information to the shop as well as Monro Corp Headquarters and they denied me any money back. They completely misdiagnosed the issue, charged me $1300 for something I didn't need and then wouldn't give me any money back. Terrible service and leadership.

The folks at Mr. Tire on Monroe are always thorough, and make sure you are happy with the service provided! I never go anywhere but here, and have been doing so the last couple of years because of the trust I have in them with my car, and knowing they will never sell me and unnecessary services. Happy to have them so close to home!

Rodney, Chris, and Davon are my heroes! Packing the car to head back to MD after a family visit, and my tire was super super low. They got me right in, found a nail in my tire and patched it right up! We made it safely home!! Thank you for being so kind, and getting us on the road with barely any delay :

Would recommend this location to everyone! They were so quick and efficient and got me back on the road in no time! They were able to fit me in their already full schedule for a tire patch & were such nice gentlemen! Will be coming back for my future car needs!

I had an appointment to have a tire replaced. Just showed up for it and they turned me away because the garage is full. They didn’t think to call me to let me know that they wouldn’t be respecting my appointment. When I suggested they call next time, the guy was terribly rude. “It’s out of my control, what do you want me to do? When would I have called you?” As a professional business, all of those things are directly within his control. Don’t overbook your garage. And if you do, at least take inventory to see if you can respect your commitments and, if you can’t, give people calls before they drive all the way over. This is basic business 101, very amateurish.

I called and asked about an oil change, they quoted me $74.99. When I actually got the bill, they had added multiple extra fees making the total $105. I was livid and they just said they couldn’t control it. If that was the price, then why quote me at $74.99? Expect to get ripped off here! They will add in extra fees like it’s an air bnb! They were even trying to get me to pay an extra $30 for something that I had not asked for! Not to mention it took over an hour to change my oil. For context they charge a labor fee to put on WINDSHIELD WIPERS! As if they don’t just slide on and off.

My tire had an enormous screw in it and I was 1.5 hours from home! I tried fix a flat and placing more air in my tire which ultimately failed. I called this shop 20 minutes before their closing time and the manager told me to come on in. I was 17 minutes away! They stayed after closing time and placed a new tire on my car! I’m so grateful they answered the phone when I called!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MR TIRE!!!!
