Had a great experience at Treats on a Leash today! Keep in mind, they have cat things too! Their rewards program is great and I love the idea of the birthday club for your pets!
The owner is lovely, the selection is great, and the vibes are immaculate. I’m recognized by name when I enter, and they are always helpful. Whenever I bring my dogs they offer treats. This is the kind of personal, local pet store everyone deserves to experience.
This is my pup's very favorite shop to visit in Ames! The folks are super-friendly, there are always great new products to try toys and treats, and they go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need for your furry friend! Their staff is knowledgeable, they hold nutrition workshops, and have fun Facebook Live sales. They get to know you and your dog and can tailor their recommendations based on your needs. My pup has a sensitive tummy and they helped me find the right products for her. Treats on a Leash also has a great customer loyalty program so the more you spend, the more you save in the long run. So glad they're in Ames!
Treats on a Leash is awesome! Good selection of chews that are healthy and keep our dogs busy. They also have a lot of cute bakery treats that our pets are obsessed with! The staff is always very friendly and helpful when we stop in. I love that Ames has a cute local pet shop!!! I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the Main Street area.
I love this store! The staff is nice everytime you stop in. I have a yellow lab that is thrilled everytime I come home with their little bakery treats. They are so well done they look like cookies for people! Really cute. I stopped by today and got her some cookies. The girl working was really nice. I am so happy this shop is here. When I come to ames and want to spoil my pup I come here!
Awesome helpful staff! Had my 2 boxers in on 2/18/23 and the staff helped with a game, a rug, and let us try out a new leash for one boy who pulls too hard when walking. The leash is amazing! Can't wait to come back!
We go here for special occasions in our dogs' lives; today it was a birthday. The treats look like what you would get in a human bakery.
Treats on a Leash is an amazing store! We were there yesterday and they helped us find boots for our pup for this extremely cold weather. They also have a wonderful selection of toys that are durable through all the chewing from our toy destroyer! Their selection of treats is healthy and safe for dogs. We recommend this store to all our friends.
I have bought a lot of dog treats at treats on a leash and my dog loves them! They are always super friendly and very helpful. I love buying treats here and they go above and beyond to make customer service a top priority! If you are looking for somewhere local to buy Christmas gifts this is a great place to shop for your pets!
