Tremblay's Sweet Shop

Grab a basket as you enter the shop and fill it up! Massive selection of salt water taffy in flavors I have never seen anywhere else. I am a bullseye junkie and they have different flavors of these I haven't seen anywhere else either. They make the fudge and brittles there, so it is fun to stop and watch them in the process. Huge selection of candy, they even sell sugar free candies with many choices. Just remember, they do not take credit card or debit cards, so bring some cash.

Everytime we are in Hayward, we go straight here. My parents would bring me here back in the early 80s. It hasn't changed much. You can watch them make the fudge or cashew brittle on marble slabs. Or, grab a basket and walk around filling it up with so many different varieties of candy. It does have a tendency to get kind of a tourist trap, but you would be doing yourself a disservice for not stopping here.

Tremblay's is a family owned chocolate shop, that's been around for decades,with, in my opinion, the nation's best fudge. Many times you can watch them making fudge in their front windows. They're not only known for their fudge, they make other candies, as well. The store is well stocked with flavorful salt water taffy, licorice, and, well, you name it, I'm certain they'll have it. They always offer samples of their different fudge flavors, too. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

I'm normally not a big fan of sweets (Chips and Salsa for Life), but Tremblay's Maple Nut Fudge is to die for. They also have the largest supply of Salt Water Taffy I've ever seen! Will definitely come back for more or just mail order some from their website for Christmas!
