Horrific management. They charged us exorbitantly high move out penalties. We’re trying to get out of here because they kept increasing the prices despite being in a global pandemic and even that they make difficult. Nobody from management replies to your emails. They declined our entrance to speak with the leasing manager. Glad we’re out. Do not waste your time and money here, there’s better buildings and management right around the corner.
We've had a great experience - have lived in the building for 2 years and the "sister" building next door owned by same management co. for another year. The apartments I've been in have been large, spacious, generally nice. The people really make the building - concierge and doormen are all great, know our kids by name, speak to/high-five them every time they see them. Sabrina in the leasing office is particularly helpful with all things related to the lease, move-in, etc.
Do not live @ Tribeca House. I lived at the site for 5 years and I must say the management group is bush league. Totally unprofessional, never get back to you, try to sneak in a fees when you move out and complete liars. Do not trust Erin Keane, Shermond Liang and Mycki Kujacznski. Read through everything you sign. 53 Park Place has been run down and they did not live up to promises they make. I have been in the industry for 15+ years and Clipper Equity record has always been this way. Stay away from Tribeca House and do not do business with @ClipperEquity. Zero star is if I could.
I actually loved the building great location, appliances, etc. but the property management company, Clipper Equity, makes the building terrible. It has been 146 days since I moved out. They have sent my security deposit to the wrong place 3 times when we told them explicitly multiple times where to send it. Finally I received it last week and the check bounced! They are also taking $500 off for the moving fee. No one will return my calls or emails. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
The building management is abhorrent. Something is always broken, specifically the elevators. They are constantly broken. Recently the elevators were broken and I had to walk all the way down 20 floors on the stairs and pound on the doors of the equinox to get out. Ridiculous considering the rent. Additionally there are constant maskless parties in violation of their own Coronavirus precautions which they don't enforce, and in violation of local laws. Like others I would give this building negative stars if possible.
Do NOT live here!!! My roommate and I moved out 5 months ago and we still have not received our security deposit. For months the check kept getting “lost in the mail” and FINALLY once we received the check, it bounced!! After reaching out yet AGAIN we have heard no response. I can only conceive a few explanations: the property manager is bankrupt, the property manager is criminal, and the property manager is grossly inept. Regardless of which explanation it is, I highly doubt you want to park your money here.
I recently signed a lease at Tribeca House and had an excellent experience in dealing with the team there. In particular, Sabrina Arminante and Ivan Done we amazing to work with and did everything they could to ensure that the process was seamless. They are both professional and accommodating. I'm excited to be a part of the building and community and I'm looking forward to a great time there!
Lived here for a year. When moving out, they charged us $500 move out fee and $700 cleaning and other fees. They do not want to give you security deposit back. Do not sign a lease here. They add whatever they want when moving out because they say that you are agreed to any changes in the contact. There are better apts in water street
Like other posts I would give it negative stars if I could. Since the new management company has taken over the entire experience has just been terrible. I mimic the thoughts of the other reviewer that the management company should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT waste you time and hard earned money. There are much better places within blocks.
Friend used to live there and had a horrible experience. Walls are paper thin and security was at our door telling us to turn the music down when we were just talking. Poorly built building!
