Trinity Brewhouse

Trinity Brewhouse was on the list of recommended restaurants that my hotel supplied. On my first evening's walk through downtown, I stumbled over the Trinity Repertory Theatre. Somehow, I'd not immediately put two-and-two together: that the Brewhouse adjoins the theatre (along the rear wall). So, of course, I ate there before the Sunday matinee. Service was good, as was the ambience: lively, but not noisy or obtrusive. The waitress was attentive. The downside is that I was there for lunch rather than dinner, and that's when some of the most interesting selections are available (after 4.00), e.g., the Wild Boar Sausage Platter. They have quite the interesting variety of burgers -- including a Vegan Sweet Potato and Black Bean Burger -- and standard pub things like Fish and Chips, but I wasn't sure either of those was a great idea before a three-hour show. So I settled for a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, which was tasty, but not exactly special. I'll try it again on another visit -- preferably in the evening.

Good place to grab food and drinks in providence. They can accommodate larger parties (we had 14). Their food is pretty typical with what you find in Providence, some vegetarian options. The mixed drinks we had were good and our server was great. Parking is limited to street parking if you can find it, or are willing to walk for a bit. We used a nearby parking garage which was nice. Overall a good place to try.

We had a great date night here! Seems good for groups, too. Beer is easy to drink, they offer flights, and food menu has something for everyone. They're big fans of bison! Very eclectic interior, which draws an interesting array of characters. Our waitress, Noel, was incredibly kind.

This place is a hidden gem. I was visiting from out of town and thoroughly enjoyed the service and drink selection. Bartenders and servers were very friendly. I would definitely return if my travels bring me back to Providence!

Drinks are great...they were out of the "secret sauce" for the wings but I got the buffalo sauce and they were fantastic! All the staff I encountered was very friendly but I would recommend asking to he put in "Judy's" section... She is fun and personable and KNOWS THE MENU!!! She with her casual seriousness mad the night fun but she made sure everything we ordered was perfect. I will be back to see here she is just that good !
