I went through the homeless shelter in the fall 2013 and was there for several weeks. Hopefully what I experienced doesn't happen anymore. The manager at the time (the gentleman in charge of the homeless shelter specifically) got physical with many of the young men, including myself. Once specifically, he took me by the upper arm and dragged me though the compound into a private area where he yelled at me and said if I don't like it, I can leave and would not be allowed back. Additionally, one of the kitchen staff who had recently been paroled and was absolutely psychotic (he use to bash his head into concrete to "help calm himself down") began groping me. I went to Pastor Richard Berry for help to resolve this situation. His response was "I must not want the help bad enough and was free to leave", refusing to acknowledge the problems within his staff. Afterward, I reached out to the police who wouldn't get involved until I had taken my molester and the abusive manager aside to confront them. I did not feel this was conducive to my safety and fled the homeless shelter. It was a nightmare and the very definition of wolf in sheep clothing

Horrible Never stay there.....the staff doesn't care and is often drunk and other staff is over baring to children (Micheal Jackson style) ...they watch movies on the office computer all day they serve under cooked food (Lazy/Uncaring) there is a un-christian Bully atmosphere. the staff is made up of permanent residences that want to be homeless forever and the whole time act like they should be sucked up too because there somehow doing you a favor.
