A Christ-centered Episcopal school.
Formerly known as the Trinity Episcopal Children’s Center (TECC), TSEL traces its origins back to the 1950′s when a group of Trinity Church parishioners decided to provide day care service for neighborhood and parish children. The church saw a need in its surrounding community and set out to meet that need. In May 1980, a formal resolution was passed by the Vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church officially establishing a day care center program.
Recognizing a growing need to insure the social and academic preparation of children for entry into kindergarten, the TECC Board and church Vestry agreed in the summer of 2007 to transform the day care center into a preschool. TECC closed its doors to all staff and children. After almost a year of renovations and revamping the program TSEL was born in June 2, 2008. Program highlights are designed to facilitate a smooth and successful transition by students to their next educational level. TSEL remains a non-profit organization and missionary outreach ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Trinity School of Early Learning is a Christ-centered Episcopal school nurturing a diverse community of multiple faiths and nationalities, ages 2½-5. We honor the dignity, diversity and individual needs of the whole child as we prepare her or him for entry into Kindergarten. Our program provides a creative and developmentally appropriate environment to promote the social, emotional, spiritual, cognitive and physical growth of our students.
During Winter, Spring or Summer breaks we accept students up to 12 years of age.
More and more families are seeking out Episcopal Schools as their children reach school age. At Trinity School of Early Learning (TSEL), parents can find academic excellence provided within a Christian framework designed to nurture the spirit of the young, as well as the mind and body. We respect each student as a child of God.
