Enjoyed out stay. The staff were all very friendly, quick to greet, and accommodating. The breakfast was great! Really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, orange juice, and coffee. We were so close to everything we needed and Times Square to boot. Fantastic location for sightseeing NYC. The room was clean and comfortable, nice sheets, down pillows. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and quite luxurious. There was convenient parking right across the street. I will definitely look to stay here again.
Stayed here for a week in the deluxe queen room. Definitely not a 4 star hotel! Pros: The basic stuff, Friendly staff, clean rooms , clean sheets and linen. Location is fantastic. Cons: very expensive to what you get. Room is small and kind of crammed, bathroom as well. Not so much room for two people. Grab and Go breakfast from 7-11 am, not really. We were there by 10am and there was nothing except for oatmeal and black coffee. So technically you are just paying for the room. We had to get a decent breakfast every morning at nearby restaurants. Overall experience is good but not as expected or paid for.
AMAZING LOCATION!!! We were right in the middle of all the action, blocks from Time Square, Rockefeller center, 5th Ave, Central and Bryant Park, Grand Central Station. The Hotel was well maintained and immaculate. Staff was professional. Rooms were a well accommodating but a little small but so is everything else in the city. Breakfast was delicious especially for those who want an early start...we're coming back to the Iroquois in the spring!
Great Location, very clean. Rooms were kinda small with only 1 bed which really wasn't a problem. Breakfast was OK, could've been better for the price. We stayed there for 3 nights. The mattress was to soft for me , messed up my back . I need Xtra firm, slept on the floor for the second and third nights.Rooms: 4/5
I don’t know where to start, the rooms are fairly big, I asked a bedroom with two beds…that’s probably the only good thing I can say about this hotel, but honestly the hotel is not worth the price. This hotel needs an urgent full renovation. The hotel is from the 70’s, and probably hasn’t been renovated ever since. My room was very cold with a quite interesting heating / AC system. The pressure of the water was quite mediocre and since I have long hair that can be very annoying. It says breakfast included but the breakfast was extremely lame. Poor almost no options and nothing quality, canned juice and American black coffee… You cannot even buy an expresso because they don’t have an expresso machine. The waiter’s answer was, that I have a coffee place across the street. This is a 4* hotel… not sure. I was extremely disappointed to have booked this hotel, I booked it one week prior my arrival, and the day of my arrival I found on booking much better options of hotels that were 5 stars, fully renovated and by Central Park in the same price range. We’re frequent travelers and unfortunately this did not meet by anyway my expectations.
I arrived at the hotel last night - the room was exactly the opposite than I have requested - next to the elevator, no great view and there’re a lot of noises coming from outside. It’s past 1am now and I am not able to sleep due to the noises. The room is not very well cleaned. There’s not even a glass cup in the room. It does not fulfill a 4 star hotel standard. Unfortunately the staff is not helpful to find solutions. I am extremely disappointed regarding my stay at The Iroquois New York Hotel. It made my trip in New York a horrible experience. It is certainly one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed !
Wonderful stay for my girlfriends birthday- location is great, close to Times Square. Reasonable rates. Service was exceptional- they upgraded us to a bigger room without us asking!
Brilliant staff who go the extra mile. Lovely 50s decor, clean comfortable rooms and a great location. We'll done to the housekeeping who were so good and kept the rooms immaculate. Rooms: 50s retro decor, I loved the view, the quadrangle of buildings and the fire escape,. So New York. Beautiful bathroom. Safety: Excellent position, not too many floors. Safe and secure. As a woman, I would be happy to travel there alone. Walkability: Terrific location, just off Times Square, but so quiet. Easy walking to most places. We thought we'd be talking taxis but walked most of the time and saw so much.
Pros : Great location. People arw friend. Service is good. Rooms are good. Cons : Breakfast was deplorable. Might as welk just not have it. Just thrown some heated up stuff in a box. Unreal. They say they have parking or it's worded "parking available" but it means it's available across the street in a garage. Could just be upfront about it.
Amazing location, great staff, and overall really good. Tiny rooms but that should be expected. Only thing that was very very disappointing was the breakfast. They were supposed to be egg and cheese sandwiches, but in reality they were onion sandwiches with a little bit of egg and a little bit of cheese. However, the hotel is super close to the Red Flame Diner which was absolutely exceptional, and that's where we ended up getting breakfast.
