Tripathi Learning & Enrichment Center

Dr. Tripathi helped my daughter to prepare for the Thomas Jefferson High School admissions test. She began working with him a little late (just 3 months before the test) but he managed to get her ready and she was accepted with very high test scores. Dr. Tripathi teaches in small groups, but he applies an individual approach to each student. His tutoring is perfectly targeted to address the needs of the child. Part of Dr. Tripathi success is due to the excellent learning environment of his classes. He takes personal interest in each child and helps them relax with jokes and light conversations. Despite the challenging work, my daughter enjoys working with Dr. Tripathi. She plans to continue attending his classes for math and science enrichment during high school.

Dr Tripathi is an amazing teacher. Both of my kids have immensely benefitted by taking the math tutoring from him. They both got not just better but faster too. His personalized way of teaching makes the students feel confident about taking any test. Thank you Dr. Tripathi for working with our children.

Dr. Tripathi provided a solid structure to help my daughter prepare for the TJHSST entrance exams. He identified the specific areas that my daughter needed to focus on and tailored her assignments accordingly. My daughter has been admitted to TJ and will be attending the school this fall.

Dr. Tripathi worked with our two children for TJHSST test preparation: A got into the class of 2021 with 99/100 (50/50 verbal, 49/50 math); H got into the class of 2022, averaging on the 98th percentile (96th Quant Q, 98th ACT Aspire reading, 100th ACT Aspire science). Our children could not have reached their full potential without Dr. Tripathi's help! Dr. Tripathi has developed preparation material that challenges even the most experienced test-takers. We can still remember his first words to me after grading my kids' free diagnostic test: "Your kids are very good, but they can get better". Using his 25+ years of experience and insight, he followed through with his statement and helped improve their scores. Dr. Tripathi makes learning enjoyable and high expectations achievable. His teaching method reminds us of how our favorite teachers would treat students like their own kids. He always takes time to listen to our concerns about our kids. We love his friendly and professional suggestions for encouraging our kids to study at home. We also learned several parenting techniques from Dr. Tripathi and his wife. Our two TJ kids absolutely love him and look forward to taking the PSAT, SAT, and Subject Tests under his guidance throughout their high school years. Our 3rd grader is looking forward to becoming "good enough" to join Dr. Tripathi's class. Dr. Tripathi's test preparation program is well worth the time and money we spent, and we highly recommend his program.

I went to SAT tutoring with Dr. Tripathi for two years, and I highly recommend his class. Within those years, I saw a major improvement in my SAT and PSAT scores, enough to qualify me for a National Merit Scholarship with the latter. That improvement was obviously worth it because it allowed me to get into my dream college and receive scholarships. This past college application season, I had so much support from Dr. Tripathi with my essays, and I know that his comments and edits definitely made a big difference. His enthusiasm to help me outside of his class with such an important aspect of my academics shows that he puts a lot of effort into everyone of his students. You won't regret having taken his classes.
