Triple J's Smokehouse

I've been coming to this place since I was a kid. Its the best bbq in houston and black owned. My only issue is its a little space that's always packed soooo you might catch covid. They have the 6 foot stickers on the floor but there's not enough space to actually social distance.

Next time I'll get the BBQ sauce on the brisket so it can soak it in on the way home. Ribs and Sausage.. 5 STARS! Please do not let the line deter you. I tried the Voodoo drink and it was delicious and sweet.. If you do not eat white bread, please state that because I feel wasteful as my bread became soggy..

Outstanding. Doesn't even make sense. It's the beans for ME. Get extra, trust me. This was our first visit and we will be returning. Worth the 47 min drive. We tried the ribs, chicken, and brisket, and baked potatoes. Everything was delicious

J Special....3 meat plate ribs, brisket and sausage with green beans and potato salad. Customer service was great, line to order moved fast. Definitely will recommend for good bbq.

I had the Big J and OMG! Never have I ever had a Baked Potato that had such an overly sufficient amount of meat! Every bite was as good as the first, you hear ME?!?! The line was long but they keep it moving to get you in and out. Love love love it!

The bake potatoes are huge and they give you at least 3 lbs of meat. Beautiful place.

They were definitely mindful of the 6ft distance and mask required. They only allowed so many people in at a time. You placed your order, paid and then exit. As customers left others were allowed in. It was a very smooth process and the food was delicious. Thank you for keeping us safe as we patronize your business.

This place never disappoints! The brisket is my favorite and the homemade links. The ribs are fall-off-the-bone good too. Potato salad is always good and the green beans are delicious. Baked beans are just too sweet for my taste.
