Discovered this gem after living in the area for a few years. Has 3 or 4 exhibit areas. Saw a number of interesting pieces of art, many from lesser known artists. Free admission and the AC is nice on a summer day.
I went when the Triton Museum had a Sikh Art Exhibit and the art was so beautiful. There was also an amazing sculpture exhibit by an artist named Mendoza pictures added. It is a smaller museum, but the art they put is so interesting & meaningful that you can take a bit of time looking at each one.
The three exhibits and sculptures on the grounds were worth exploring. It was a very quiet and pleasant visit.
So happy to see Triton Museum is reopened. It's free yet it's collection are definitely worth a trip if you live in the south bay area and you love art.
Very interesting museum with the participation of the community, small and surrounded with the beautiful gardens. Have temporals exhibitions of recognized artist and also local beginners artist participating on competitions.
Good place to see some fine art
The Triton Museum is a free local museum that highlights mainly local artists. The galleries are small and there is not a lot on display at once but the overall quality is decent and it's free. Definitely not worth coming here for a specific visit but worth taking a look if you happen to be in the area.
It's small, but the one exhibit with Ric Ambrose was amazing! Look at that graphite work! He even stuck himself if one of the works.
