HORRIBLE! I literally called them back to back 5 TIMES and NO ONE PICKED UP! I was trying to order food on the app but the app didn’t have what I wanted. Why wouldn’t you pick up the phone and at least put me on hold of your busy! You just lost a customer! Now I know why my husband hates going their! I just went to Chik Fil A. Better customer service anyways!!!!
Never had a problem with this location. Great food and fantastic smoothies. I am a little concerned about the mental health of the employees though, they always seem so depressed!
Went a couple months ago and was thinking about this experience and it made me so upset i had to write this review to warn others. I went in mid-day and there were no customers and only one employee not wearing a uniform. I was informed as soon as I walked in that they were not making food quite rudely and that was fine because I didn’t want any food. I asked for the chocolate banana smoothie in a large cup and was informed that I would have to buy 2 and they would be put in 2 children's cup. NEVER in all my years of going to tropical smoothie have i ever been told that. I tried to explain nicely that I’ve had it done before and he was very rude in saying they shouldn’t have done that and it’s not allowed. So I’m looking at the menu and he informs they’re out of something else and that’s fine so I ask for a blueberry bliss and he informed me there was a recall on blueberry’s so I left. I looked and looked and could not find any blueberry recall anywhere. I believe he lied to me and just didn’t want to help anyone. I have been a loyal customer of tropical smoothie for over 10 years but i will never return to this location again. As I was leaving he went outside and began taking photos of the store not sure if he was a store manager or owner but that behavior is unacceptable. 0/10!! Before that and when I walked in he wasn’t doing anything at all just on his phone. Totally unprofessional.
I am not one to write reviews but this interaction NEEDS ONE. Service and staff is absolutely terrible and rude. Acted like they hated their life and did not care to serve or acknowledge their customers. I placed a to go order 30 min before they closed for my husband to pick up. Called and was placed on hold for almost 15 min while I could hear them in the background, called back again..no answer, called AGAIN and she answered saying "what you want". I proceeded to place my order where she said paying over the phone was not an option... My husband goes to pick up the food and as he is standing there waiting no employee of the THREE one sitting at the table eating even looks at him or acknowledges him for 10 minutes so he finally says something. She doesn't even verify his order and says "you ready to pay? not even knowing what he got! As more customers come into the store he is still waiting and nor do they even get acknowledged. By the time he got our food, the other customers waiting hadn't even been spoken too. Overall, they make you feel like you're a burden to them and you should take your service elsewhere until these employees are dealt with. They say 2 words, minimal eye contact, no context clues, 0/10 employees.
I don’t know what happened to TS. I am a regular and will go everyday sometimes twice a day. The app barely works or they cut it off where you can’t order. They can never get your smoothie right or it’s melted. The other staff would at least put it in the fridge. They are slow as heck. They really need to close this location honestly. I don’t see how they are still in business. Oh and let’s not forget how you tell them it’s wrong and the attitudes arise. BRING BACK OLD STAFF. I heard Lakeshore is better
I ordered something online this morning, but when I arrived the store was closed. The GM ended up calling me to apologize and offered to refund my order, or make me another order tomorrow morning. He ended up calling me again tonight to apologize again, and to send him a screenshot of my order so he can make it tomorrow. That is true customer service and such a great general manager.
This is usually my day-to-day go-to place. I ordered online as usual. My order was set to be ready for pick up at 3:10 pm. I arrived a few minutes later 3:20 pm just to give the staff a few more minutes. I informed the young lady at the front counter that I placed an online order and gave her my name. She said they’re still working on it, give us a few more minutes. I said okay, no problem. More minutes and more minutes go by. Still, I'm asking about my order. I finally got my food but no smoothie. I'm just standing there waiting on my smoothie, remind you my food is getting cold. I asked several different members about my smoothie. No one knows where is my smoothie, nor did they have intentions to fix it. I finally got my smoothie at 4:04 pm. It seems like a bunch of kids work there and doesn't have a care in the world. I usually eat here 4-5 times a week but after today I don't see myself returning.
I used to love this place! Now I have to figure out how to substitute what they used to call the "totally turkey wrap" y'all should have an "the originals" thing on the register for the original menu and now even though I subsitue they constantly either don't put lite ranch on it or don't put hardly any at all. Another thing is the new cups. I under stand trying to save money but now I cannot get a smoothie home eithough it melting and I live 20 minutes or so from the restaurant. They need to return to the Styrofoam cups to preserve the smoothies longer especially with how hot it is outside.
Yummy!!!! First time in and I am please to report everything was so delicious! The Kale and apple slaw, oh my! The Jerk chicken wrap and my fruit blended smoothie was all worth the drive from Abaster! Thank you Alysia for your hospitality! Melinda
I usually love ordering from tropical smoothie cafe but the ball was dropped today out of the 3 things- 2 smoothiesa lean machine I customized and a dragonfruit each with edible strawberry straws and a ceasar wrap with a banana I ordered through uber eats. I only received 1 smoothie no edible straw and the wrap no banana. We were able to talk to our uber eats driver who explained when he was there he expressed to the person giving him our food order that there were things missing and they dismissed his concerns. Do better please.
