Josh is an incredibly attentive and caring instructor to children, irrespective of age and ability. He offers an atmosphere of encouragement, education and accomplishment and we've really loved our time there, witnessing the positive impact martial arts has had on our children. Highly recommended!

I joined Trowbridge Martial Arts back in 2012 when I moved to Madison. It has been 5 years now and I couldn’t have picked a better place to train. Through the years not only have I received some of the best training, but I have met some of the greatest people as well. I can safely say that there is no other school like this. If I had to recommend a school to a newcomer, this school will always be the only recommendation. Trowbridge Martial Arts Academy's reputation isn’t solely based on the instructor, but the people that train in it as well. I highly recommend trying Trowbridge Martial Arts for anyone seeking to learn martial arts and meet great people.

Grandmaster Josh & his wife Abbey, Master Jerry & Master Nancy are all amazing instructors. I recommend folks take classes through them to anyone with the courage to try martial arts. My son and I started taking classes through them in November 2015... and we plan on continuing to take classes with them for as long as we are alive. Your children will learn to have respect for themselves as well as respect for others. It has been an invaluable experience!

Trowbridge Martial Arts Academy is one of the best in this area hands down. I have trained at another academy for a few years and what I thought was good form and knowledge wasn't. If you want to be trained in an authentic martial arts then choose Trowbridge Martial Arts Academy. You will learn martial arts, get a unbelievable workout and I agree with Eduardo's review the people you will train along side with are top notch. Grandmaster Trowbridge and his family get to know you and make you feel like family.

Grandmaster Trowbridge is an amazing instructor. I came in to his class with a lot of lingering issues from a previously broken leg, and he was very accommodating. In addition the class has proven to be excellent physical therapy, in just the first few months I had increased strength, balance and range of motion. I go to classes 3-4 hours a week, and have been practicing for over four years. This is a great way to get in shape and improve mental discipline.
